Has anyone seen the show lately and talked to JLY at the stagedoor? I'd also love a blog update, so hopefully he will do that soon.

Totally OT, but has anyone else seen the YouTube video of the Filipino inmates dancing to Michael Jackson's Thriller? It's highly recommended viewing.

Does anyone know if the any of the JERSEY BOYS have vacations coming up?

Because I want to see the show in August, and don't wanna miss any of them, especially JLY.

Hey everyone! So my Dad and I made it into the city on Sunday, but didn't end up seeing JB. It would've been cool if we had since Colin was on as Nick, and Travis as Frankie, but we were running a little late so I figured that we wouldn't make it. The weather in the city was PERFECT, though, and we basically walked all around and soaked it all in. And at the end of the day we were able to stop by the stagedoor to say hello to everyone, so it really was a great day. We may be back sometime in early October to try again, since my Dad really wants to see the show with John, Christian, Daniel and Bobby (not discrediting the amazing understudies obviously, but he hasn't seen the show before

).

Clumsy--I think they Boys are pretty much finished with the vacations for now, so they should all be there unless something comes up.

On another note, who here is going to be at one of Daniel's concerts at Joe's Pub on 8/12? I'll be at the 9:30 show...it's going to be an awesome night!

Alejandra, I talked to JLY last week at the stage door. He said that he wasn't sure what was up next for him but he said something about doing a concert at Lincoln Center

Rachel I'm glad you were able to make it down to the city last week. My Parents and I will be in the city August 10th to see Xanadu. I want to try and make it up to the Jersey Boys stage door to say hi after their show gets out since Xanadu is only 90 minutes long.

I would love to see Daniel's concert but I think I'll be heading home the day before so I won't be able to see it.

The towel waving reminded me of a Per?nist rally. I kept chanting "Evita!" whenever they'd pan to the crowds. - SM2

Rachel, I'm going to the concert at that time too! Definitely say hi :).

JLY doesn't know what's next for him yet - he's still feeling everything out. He should update his blog, though - he hasn't in a while. And about vacations: I've heard rumblings that Matt Scott may leave this fall. They're just rumblings, but still. It would be so sad to lose him. The swings in JB are just the best.

Have any of you seen CURTAINS yet? I've been working there lately, and I just love the show. It's so fun to watch.

Haha, Judy, I was just watching that video of the inmates dancing after I saw part of it on The Soup.

Xanadu looks like it's going to be really, really good. I hope you enjoy yourselves and get to stop by the JB stagedoor!

Today is the day Grey Gardens closed, right? As well as Beauty and the Beast if I'm not mistaken.

110 in the Shade also closed today. I really wanted to see that one. I have yet to see Audra McDonald in a show and I really want to. At least there is a cast recording of it.

There is a short blog update up now, thanking a fan for an awesome sculpture/gift. I love it! Now I wish there were sculptures of all the main cast.

I do wonder about the possible cast changes coming up this fall. But at the same time, that's still a little ways away, so I'm trying not to worry about it too much!

Hey everyone! I went to Florida to visit my aunt (who has lung cancer) and uncle. My uncle always calls me Kristina-Oak-U-Me-5 year old me. Now he calls me Kristina-Oak-U-Me-13 year old you soon to be 14 year old-me(or something like that, it's confusing) Don't ask. lol. but the doctors say my aunt has cancer in the lungs, bone and in the brain and they say she now has two months to live. So... we are hanging in there.

Thanks, but I got some more sad news, the doctors say that there is no use of her doing the kemo therapy (sp? I can never spell that) it's that bad. Even if she does it, it'll make her even more worse.

Sorry for not posting. Just came home from New York. I wish it could have gone better. My dad took a red eye in because he was on a business trip. But with all the rain he didn't get home until 12:30 yesterday afternoon and we didn't leave until 2 pm.

Anyway there was traffic and rain along the way down so what should have taken us 3 hours to get to the city ended up taking us almost 5 hours. So we could even check into the hotel to change for Xanadu. Which makes me sad because I have a really pretty dress for the show and couldn't wear it.

So after that the suckage of the day stopped and we saw Xanadu. Everyone if you have a chance SEE THIS SHOW! It's so funny and the cast is amazing. Not to mention thats its just a fun show. I hope to see the show again soon. After the show I was able to meet Cheyenne Jackson after the show which was great. He's such a honey.

So we went out to dinner and finished around 10:30. So I was able to make it up to the stage door at Jersey Boys and was able to met the guys. I was freezing because of the outfit I was in. But the last few hours of the day totally made up for the crappy first half of the day.

I'll post pictures when my dad uploads them. Until then have a good weekend everyone!
