Hi Lilli, welcome to the thread. :) I'm Judy.
I always loved the song Sherry whenever I heard it, but I didn't know that that song, or many others, like Oh What a Night, were Four Seasons songs.
I'm excited about the new Frankie Valli CD, but I haven't gotten it yet. I really want to, though. I think it's also cool that the guys did backup singing for it (On Broadway?)
I have a greatest hits Four Seasons CD that I listen to in addition to the JB cast recording.
Erin, I'm watching your Red Sox right now. *keeping fingers crossed* that they'll win.

I'm watching the game. What happened to the offense?
Edit: Never mind Dusty had a HR!
Haha, just as I read your post, Erin, Dustin got a two-run homer!
Back on topic, in the JB hardcover book, there are SO many great quotes from JLY and rest of the cast and crew.
This is probably my favorite quote of John's:
When I'm sixty years old, I'll look back at this period and think, That was the best: to go out there with four guys and tell the story and breathe life into the legacy of this group.
As genuinely excited as I am for John and the other guys' future career moves, reading the above got me a bit choked up. That sounds so much like his closing speech as Frankie in the show. In light of John's leaving soon, especially, I'm really happy to have a book documenting what the OBC has accomplished.
At the store I flip through so many of these type of books, including the Wicked Grimmerie, but this was the only one I've ever bought. BTW, there really should have been one for LITP.

From what I've seen of the JB book it is fantastic. I wasn't ableto read the quotes though.
Back to the game: Holy crap I want to marry Paplebon now.
Judy- Will you be on AIM tonight?
About AIM--nope, I really need to go to bed after this game. I have to be up early tomorrow. Sorry for being MIA, Erin--I was submerged in work.
I'm dying to see the pictures from tonight's event! I'm also wondering what the final total is for John's CFF donation contest is.

It's ok Judy. We'll talk again soon.
Holy crap Dusty is amazing! I would be yelling like and Idiot but my parents are sleeping.
I only have to say one word. YOOOOOOOOUUUUUK!
I guess the offense finally woke up.

Here is some interesting news
http://www.playbill.com/news/article/112081.html
Oh yeah and the Red Sox are going to the World Series
John did say something about doing a concert at Lincoln Center when I saw it back in July. I'd kill to see Kelli though. I've never seen her live before.
and I still don't get why we have to talk about baseball in a JLY love thread.

Wonderful article! Thanks, Erin.
I'd love to go to JLY's solo concert. I'm also a huge fan of Kelli and Christine's.
and I still don't get why we have to talk about baseball in a JLY love thread.
We talk about a lot of things in here, b/c many of the regular posters have interests in common besides thinking JLY is awesome. :) And we do try to stay on topic, as well.
ok clearly I phrased that question wrong...
I'm planning on getting the tickets too, I hope to get them on Thursday when they go on sale!
You should all go hehe

Thanks for posting that Lizzy. I don't know why I didn't look there before.
Hey everyone I bought my tickets today for John's concert for the 23rd. I got the 10:30 one, the 8:30 was sold out already!! That is great for him though
I bought 6 but I had to make two separate orders because they couldn't put 6 all together. My sister and three of her friends, and me and my friend. I bought $60 Orchestra seats
I hope all of you get to go, I would love to meet you all in person.

I would love to go to the concert it looks like the 10:30 is selling really well since only the $45 seats are left.
I'm watching the World Series right now. If the Red Sox win the whole thing I'm going to be doing the Papledance.
Papledance??
oh brother
Have a great time at his concert for those that are going. I'm halfway around the world or else I'd be there in a second.

You're in Australia right obsessed?
hey girls...I haven't posted here in forever (this thread and BWW to be exact!!) hope all is well with eveyone!!!!!!!
I have some insane news...I GOT ENGAGED last night!!! And the Jersey Boys were some of the first people to see my ring!! Daniel wouldn't let my hand go he was so excited. I never thought they would be a part of my life like that lol, but they were!! My fiance, Mark, proposed to me after we saw Avenue Q...he waited for the entire theater to clear and then got me in front of the stage and asked. I was in shock...Jennifer Barnhart (cast member of Avenue Q) started freaking out screaming, "THEY JUST GOT ENGAGED!!", it was adorable. Then Mark was like, "we have to go see Daniel because he knew I was going to do this and wants to see you." Supposedly they were trying to work something out for me to go on stage at JB and be asked there but they couldn't do it or something. AHHH I am rambling...I am just still in a state of shock!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh and Erin...GOOOOOOOO SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks Kristina!!

That is great news Andrea! What does the ring look like?
It's a 3/4 carat princess cut diamond on a platinum band. Nice and simple and exactly like I wanted. I am still in disbelief!!!
Yeah, billygoatgirl, I am in Australia. It's pretty amazing.
