John's Christmas/holiday cards are going out. I received one today, and I'm sure many others of us will get one too! It's a series of letters, starting with JLY...and ending with JOY.
Simple, effective, and elegant. I have to say, I love his creative marketing strategies. He does an excellent job of maintaining the same look and feel to his correspondence and tweaking it to fit an occasion.
I'm so dying to see the new matinee Frankie. I wish Travis had gotten it but if anyone sees it with Cory Grant let us know how he is.
The JB Blog forum has reviews of JLY's performance in San Diego (which he mentions in his latest blog entry). Thanks, Erin, for the heads up about it!
He sang Roy Orbison's Crying and a Sam Cooke medley?! *dies* I love those old songs, and I can only imagine how fantabulous JLY sounded.

Sounds like everyone who was there had a great time. I wonder if those are the songs John will be singing at his concert in February.
Well I have very good news. My brother proposed to his girlfriend of 6 years this weekend in front of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center and she said yes.
Is this the post with the most BWW "views" in history?

Erin, did he propose on the skating rink on Saturday night, around 7pm? Because if that is him it is too small a world...

Aww thats cute that another guy proposed there as well. It would be a very small world if the guy was my brother.
I saw some of the pictures from my brothers proposal there is a woman in the background and the look on her face was priceless I think she cried afterwards at least thats what my brother told me.
I'm so hyper at the moment because the Patriots are now 16-0. That game got too close for a little while (I was giving myself a headache) But as usual the Pats did awesome in the 4th quarter. Of course the only game that matters now is the Super Bowl.
I would love to go to the concert in Feb, but there are no tickets left.

I hate the Pats, and the RedSox, but we've been over this....
Hope everyone had a very merry holiday!

Then you would get along well with my cousins then since they also hate the Sox and the Pats.
I procrastinate as well. I mean I'm 19 and I still don't have my learners permit for driving yet. But I now have my brothers old car and I plan on getting my permit during my break.
My holiday was great, my brother was here for a few days but now he's back in CA and I won't see him again until May when my cousin gets married. I got my last present which is on-stage seating for Xanadu.
Do they have cancellation seating at the place where the concert is going to happen?
Hi everyone!! WOW I haven't been here in awhile

Hey Lori. You should report to us about the concert.
Wow this thread is really messed up cause there are a ton of missing posts.
It sure is that is weird!
Yes I will give you all a report
Any of you written him recently? =)

John updated his blog today. Thanks John for reminding me about the Patriots godawful performance this past Sunday. There were so many things that went wrong. Mostly the Offensive line not doing their job and not going to kick when its was 4th and 13 at the 49 yard line which the kicker could have made.
At least Wes Welker and a few other players for the Pats played like it was the Super Bowl and for that Welker over takes Tom Brady as my football boyfriend.
That being said, the Giants were great, out played the Pats and they deserved to win. I actually like Eli Manning and the Giants.
Now I can look forward to Pitchers and Catchers reporting next week and Duke basketball. Plus I'm seeing Xanadu this week from on-stage so that I will make me feel much better.
Edit: I should add that I love the pictures of John w/ the Manning brothers.
*bumping to page 1*
Okay this thread needs a major BUMP lol!
How is everyone!?!?!?
oo I forgot to put my JLY story here. So I was waiting for my train a couple of weeks ago and was not paying attention at all and I look up and JLY is standing right in front of me! We chatted briefly about what we were both up to and the whole time I was thinking I can't believe he a)recognized me b) came up to me. He is too sweet.
