Melissa looks great! I remember American Dreams! My cousin and I watched the entire first season when I visited her in California a couple of years back in one sitting haha.
I haven't been on here in like forever! I've been at marching band practices all week and I have them next week too. I start school on the 7th and our first football game is on the 9th... ahhh. Yeah, I'm a band geek at heart, however I'm mad they took away our coach buses... grrr our new principal *grumble grumble*

I've seen the Phantom movie! It's forever tainted for me now because of something my brother did, but it's not appropriate for the boards

Meryl, school just started and you sound super busy already. :) Hope things don't get stressful at all. American Dreams was another great show that did not deserve cancelation.
Kathryn, I saw the Phantom movie. :) I liked it but I preferred seeing the show live. I guess that's usually the case.
Elle, you're making me wonder what your brother did, LOL...And is there anything in particular that stands out for you from working at a theatre?
NPG, it's been raining here a lot too. Rain on someone's wedding day is supposed to be good luck, right? Considering it's a former tropical storm, maybe that's like extra good fortune. :)
Here's hoping for 1,000 today!

It's raining pretty hard in Jersey at the moment. Okay, maybe not pouring but a reasonable amount. It's very windy though. I have a cotillion to go to and I have to walk to the stupid hair salon because my parents are going to the mall because my dad needs to buy a dress shirt.
The Phantom movie was alright for my taste. Phantom is my favorite musical, for it's the show that got me into theatre. I think the Broadway version is far superior to that of the movie but to each its own. I'd love to have Elle's former job hehe.

Yeah I think I would also like the stage one better if I saw it, I am going to try and see it I can get tickets for it when it comes to Georgia this next year.
the one good thing about the movie is the guys are very easy on the eyes, I love patrick wilson.

Kathryn I was JUST about to post that! LOL. I really hope John is okay.
My favorite thing about working at Phantom is that I got to be in the theatre before all the patrons were. I just walked up to the doors and looked at the box office workers, and they buzzed me in. It felt like I was part of the show, which is pretty cool.
I love Patrick Wilson, too! He's so attractive .

I would love to work in a theatre but I live to far away from all of the ones here in Georgia, I think that would a fun job.
Lol yes he is, and Gerard Butler the guy who played the Phantom isn't to bad looking either.

Hello everyone! I keep on forgetting to post this story to you all, but this past summer i was supposed to go to NJ with my older sister but i didn't want to go. Well cut 2 when she got back from NJ she gave me a Yankee T-shirt!( she went to NYC)I asked her where she got it and she said that she got it from the YANKEE/BRAVES GAME! I also asked her who performed she said the 'JERSEY BOYS'! I was so ticked off! Plus she got good seats in the first section, and when they left they were going in my sisters direction and she told my that JLY was looking right at her! She also said that he looked good! I'm so jealous ! Does anybody think that I'm very stupid for not going with her?

my mom thinks he's cute! LOL. everytime i would get a letter from him my friends are always like "ooh! you got a letter from him again!" of course they would always raise their eyebrows! LOL. freinds now a days! oh yeah counting down till i get a letter from him! My friends think he is cute, too.
P.S. still mad about the yankee/braves thing. ( i'm a yankee fan)

LOl my mom was like that when I got my first letter from him, it's funny my first two or three things I got from the guys my sister would get out of the mail box and then run down the hill back to the house and then run in the door saying guess what, you got something from the Jersey Boys, now all they do is say here is something from John.
Please dont ask me why I just said all that, I am bored.

Oooh, JLY Jersey Gal, your sister got to hear the boys sing the national anthem? That is so cool. I don't blame you for feeling jealous. And he is most definitely cute.
Fans won't be disappointed with Michael, but I really hope that John is OK. 
Aw, Patrick Wilson is fantastic. He has a big movie coming out this fall with Kate Winslet and Jennifer Connelly, Little Children, which is supposed to be one of the year's best.
And Kathryn and all--If you liked Gerard Butler in Phantom, I totally recommend a movie called "Dear Frankie." (a title that's coincidentally perfect for this thread!). Butler plays a stranger who helps Emily Mortimer, the mother of a deaf son. Great film.
