I'm a baseball girl, too! The Yankees! But I haven't been watching them that much lately b/c it's hard to be a complete Bway fan and a sports nut at the same time but I'll be back in my obsessive baseball state if the Yankees make the playoffs. You should see me when I'm at a game or watching one, lol. I basically turn into a middle-aged man with anger issues.

I'm feeling like Alejandra & I and SP & Patronus have had a freaky friday switch or something b/c the we love the sports and you guys can't stop talking about Norbert's @$$. LOL

I'm not that superstitious but I do wear my Yankee jersey or t-shirt and my cap when I watch the playoffs or games against the Red Sux. And I wear my rally cap(cap turned inside out for all you non-sports fans) when we(the Yankees, lol) need it.

It's really funny when the worlds cross. I have actually watched baseball games while singing The Light in the Piazza then I stop to grunt or curse when someone strikes out or drops the ball then I go back to trying to sing like Kelli O'Hara. lol It's quite a sight!

Hey broadway betty: speaking of Piazza and baseball, isn't Matt Morrison a Mets fan? Maybe I'm imagining it.

This does remind me, however, that when I was very young (mid-late 80s) we used to be Mets and Braves fans. *ducks* The Braves mostly b/c they're here down South. LOL. Then in the early 90s, for a season or two I got interested in the Toronto Blue Jays b/c Paul Molitor (whom I thought was hot, in addition to being classy) was on the team.

I forgot to show my GG love! Been watching it since day 1, it's my favorite show for sure. Marty is my fave guy. I loved him even b/f I knew he was a theatre guy and could sing. I don't see Trailer Park until Saturday but I've read a couple BWW reviews and they say that Wayne's character is like a crazy angry boyfriend trying to get his girl back. I can't imagine my sweet Marty being angry at all. lol I also heard he sings a duet with Shuler Hensley.

Let's play 6 degrees of Norbert. Norbert was the original Jamie in L5Y. Wayne Wilcox played Jamie in Philly. Wayne co-stars with Shuler Hensley(whose character is named Norbert) in Trailer Park. Shuler beat Norbert for the Tony with his performance in Oklahoma! Not exactly 6 but it's still interesting.

Alejandra: Yes, Matt is a Mets fan. He was wearing a Mets cap after I saw Piazza for the first time(the pic is in fanphotos). He was also at the Mets game that Victoria sang the national anthem for wearing his jersey and cap.

Patronus: I'm a NY girl and I love the Yankees, so :p!! My grandpa was getting ready to watch game 1 of the subway world series and nothing else was on TV that night no I decided to watch it with him. Andy Pettite started that game and I fell in love with him in a NY second. I was hooked instantly. Watched every pitch of that series and actually wanted them to lose so there could be more games. I went into such a deep depression after the series ended eventhough they won.

Funny thing. First time I saw DRS, I was at the stage door and I was like "Yay Norbert! You're a Yankee fan!" Because he was wearing a Yankee cap and he was like "Actually, I'm a Cardinals fan." That makes sense. lol

Wow, that's amazing! :) Norbert supposedly did a workshop at my university while I was there as an undergrad (1998?). Of course I had NO idea who he was at the time. Figures.

My team is the Braves, and I am really into baseball, although not as much as I once was, and the Yankees have grown on me since I moved to NY.

I adore the Gilmore Girls it is one of my absolute favorite shows.

The ONCE MORE WITH FEELING Buffy though is hardly weird to me, I think it is the single greatest musical version of a TV show ever, especially because it fits and advances the story so well.

Excellent! thespian geek, thanks so much for that link. I'm on the Norbert LJ community but I must have missed that. LOL. I saw a link to Spirit Trees on an *old* Norbs Web site, but the link had been outdated. Never knew about "Chemistry" (hehe, that reminds me of that old song by Sam Cooke).
