Norbert has now done two thing a guy like me can never do:
Wear incredible tight and revealing white seude pants (Wicked) and bar my @$$ on stage (DRS)

I agree--Norbs cannot be on page 3, but alot has been going on ,namely Katrina's aftermath, back to school and Labor Day.

Anyway, I was thinking Norbs could have played the Michael C. Hall character on "Six Feet Under" (much as I love MCH in that role) or Ari on "Entourage". Any other casting ideas for our favorite Freddy?

I actually love both Michael C Hall and Jeremy Piven on those respective shows, but I do think that Norbert could have pulled them off.

It's funny that you posted that (and I somehow missed it) but I think that Michael C Hall would be a phenominal replacement for Norbert in DRS.

I've been watching my Passion dvd alot lately and just thought how great Norbert would be as Giorgio. He would rip that role apart! Damn, I hate that I'm doing this but Kristin as Clara and Idina as Fosca just came to mind. Hehehe Also, just to keep them together b/c they're so great, Norbert as Billy Flynn, Kristin as Roxie Hart, and Idina as Velma Kelly.

Norbert, hands down. And I'm not just being bias.

Norbert would be alot better than Jere Shea and I like Jere Shea! Norbert is a great singer and actor, he could show it off in a show like Passion. He'd be PERFECT as Giorgio! I know you love Michael but, that's right, I'm saying it, he's hogging up all the Sondheim roles! Let someone else have a crack at a meaty Sondheim role!

Meaty, hahaha. Did you see the pic of him and Patti in Riedel's column on Friday? "Come, glorious Patti, and take some promo pics with raw meat." lol

Norbert wouldn't be just right in Passion, he'd be perfect! Norbert is such a versatile actor. He can do the rock thing in Rent and the pop thing in Wicked and the funny thing in DRS but he could also be the leading man in an emotional, romantic show like Passion. I totally see it and I thought you'd agree with me. I know it's hard to believe that the man who sings "great big stuff" could also sing a song like "happiness" or "no one has ever loved me" but I tell you I can see it and hear it!

New Philosophy Girl and her 2 friends and I got tix to see yesterday's DRS matinee. 30 minutes b/f curtain, we see "the role usually played by NORBERT LEO BUTZ will be played by JOE CASSIDY". We went to the B.O. window and they told us to go back to TKTS. I raised heck over there. I was like "You didn't tell us that Norbert was out! I want a refund gosh darnit!" The guys were telling us that there are no refunds but after a bit of fighting they were going to give us a refund b/c Naked Girl had sold out but then we decided on Trailer Park. I love DRS but I can't see it without Norbert.

DRS was supposed to perform at Broadway on Broadway today but they didn't. Grrrrr! I knew that Norbert probably wouldn't perform anyway but I would've loved Sherie to sing "here i am".

DRS is a great show but I wouldn't keep going back if Norbert wasn't in it. Well, unless it's Stokes and Hunter. Norb and Stokes would work, too!
