In his Chatterbox "interview" Norb talked about how he moved around from place to place for whatever girl he was dating. I think Nebraska is where he met his former wife.

there is a good chance norbie may host the tonys next year becouse he won leading actor. because hugh won the year before :)

I was going to post last nite about how great it would have been to see Norbs on "B'way Under the Stars", but hearing and reading about how he is ill, I'm glad I didn't.

Get well, Norbs..good luck to Joe Cassidy!

'Glad Norbs could spend Father's Day with his two girls...'doubt he'll get much "rest", though!

( P.S. Why couldn't I have dated some guys like Norbs, who moved around for his ladies??)

As cool as that would be, and as cool of a host I think Norbert would make, I doubt that will happen. Yes, Hugh won last year, but Hugh had also been hosting the Tonys the last 2 (or 3 if you want to include this year) years.

I'm almost positive Norbert will get to be a presenter, though.

Norbert and Michelle have been dating since the San Francisco run of Wicked.. though she may be his bestfriend, too. A lot of people date and marry their bestfriends. Or consider their significant other their bestfriend.

Actually, I could totally see Chris Fitzgerald replacing Norbert as Freddy. Either him or Andy Meeks (Mark on the latest Rent tour). Though Andy hasn't done any Broadway yet, he did make it to final auditions for Avenue Q not too long ago, so it looks like Broadway could be in his near future.

I've mentioned Hunter as a viable alternative a few times. The only thing- not sure Hunter would wanna keep being a replacement.
