I thought I'd come over here and announce that I love Norbert (in a non-sexual way, naturally). I can't listen to him enough, and I've begun to hoard pictures of him. Uh oh.
i second that thespain!! i have about 150 pics of him on my comp! and i cant get enough! and well..lets just say, my non sexual feelings changed! lol. im sure everybodys on here did! haha.
I've got a decent amount of pictures (no where near 150), but the thing that does me in is his voice (*swoon*) and his personality. I love a guy that can make me laugh.
his voice makes me like, melt into a puddle of mush. lol. thats waht i first fell in love with. then i saw him, and his comedy and personality. i was hooked!
Ditto. I got the Wicked cast recording before buying the book, and when I heard "Dancing Through Life" for the first time.. I just died. Then I got the book (wht the pictures from the Broadway show in it) and saw him and was a goner.
On the main board, a link to Feeling Electric songs was posted so I'm bringing it over here. Feeling Electric was presented as a concert workshop in July 2002--Norbert and Sherie participated, along with Greg Naughton. :) A clip of one of their duets is posted--A Light in the Dark.
I've heard Feeling Electric and loved it. Norbert and Sherie have significant roles, and because they're portraying an unhappy couple (one aspect of the story) it reminds me a bit of L5Y.
my non-sexual feeling have changed in the first week I loved him LOL. but would you go out with him? I mean becouse of the huge age difference wouldn't it be more like you would be him daughters friend not his? oh well It would be fun to babysit his kids!

Granted, Norbert's almost twice my age, but yes.. I would go out with him. One, he doesn't look his age, and two, he doesn't really act his age.
But asking me if I'd go out with Norbert because of the age difference is like asking me if I'd go out with Brad Pitt or Johnny Depp who are older than Norbert. Um... DUH? Hell yeah I would. Haha.
I'm going to see DRS tomorrow, but is Norbert back in the show? I know he was out this weekend, but I haven't heard if he was back in the show tonight.
That pic of Norbert sure is a "goodie". It's one of my all-time faves. I was going through my magazines the other day and was wondering "Why am I saving this Newsweek?". Then I started flipping through it and 'lo and behold there was Norbs. Such a pleasant reminder.

thespian geek: I don't know what the song is officially called. I started calling it "Alone." (AKA "Track 7"--hehe.) I know exactly what you mean--it is a beautiful sad song, easily the best of them all. Norbert sounds achingly good!
Yep--Last fall there was a post on the main board about Michael Arden auditioning for the role of the son. I haven't heard anything else though. Michael Arden updates are posted frequently on the main board (particularly since my Michael Arden love thread disappeared--boo!) so hopefully we hear something about Feeling Electric eventually.
I've said it b4 I don't think Norb is a Deadpan Dave or Tony (Fa) Danza type of guy. & Esp now w his voice being on med watch. I think he is too, well, intelligent & those shows need quick funny sound bites & I don't think he has that persona yet. YET.
