A maverick German book author said Wednesday he wants to read aloud inside a mosque from The Satanic Verses, the 1988 novel by Salman Rushdie which some Muslims consider blasphemous.

Speaking of Death Wish, anyone see that trailer for a new film with Jodie Foster that pretty much looks like a remake of Death Wish? I forget what it's called.
I think the guy should go for it! Come to the US and do the reading. It's still a free country, isn't it?
