After their unsuccessful attack on Ellen Degeneres and JC Penney, the far right fringe group One Million Moms is going after...wait for it...Toys 'R Us. The heinous act committed by the toy store chain? Carrying the Archie comic book with a gay wedding.

They do know that Archie is carried in thousands of other stores that are frequented by families, right?
At this point, I think they're just doing this for more attention, following the tons they got for their JC Penney shenanigans.

Posted: 2/29/12 at 10:02pmI was curious why Toys R'Us is being singled out as well. I saw this Archie comic at the drug store and Barnes and Noble. One Million Moms did not get the memo that kids today are not like they were years ago when they were kids.Times have changed.

In the good old pre internet days, those moronic fringe "groups" would be immediately dismissed.

They are going to have to change their name at some point since they don't have 1 million members.
On their website they take credit for the cancellation of The Playboy Club and MTV's Skins? These heffers are delusional!

This is my favorite of their FAQs:
Shouldn't we thank a network for airing "good" shows like ABC's Home Makeover?
In very rare instances, OneMillionMoms recognizes shows that are free from sex, violence, and profanity. However, we must take into account the "dirty" shows that are promoted during commercial breaks, along with the overall tone of the network. Unfortunately, the networks, as a whole, are consistantly offensive to family viewing.

A Special shout out to the Million Moms and their boycott! The Archie Comic book has now sold out and is in popular demand, something that might not have happened had the Million Moms not helped out. Advertisers should look to the Million Moms and plead with them to boycott their product to help increase sales.
