Only 137 day left until Christmas!!
I love HOME ALONE. Sequel was good too. "KEVIN!!!!!"
The score is just brilliance. Throughout the film, as I watched last night, just pure brilliance. Nice mix of a 'sentimental homeness' with Christmas cheer. Very appropriate and sets the mood for each scene just ever so perfectly.
*Sigh* I wish it was Christmas.
"You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch.
Your heart's as cold as ice!
...
I wouldn't touch you with a -
thirty-nine and a half foot pole!"
Ah, the greatness of Boris Karloff.
*Sigh*
OK, rant is over. Man! I wish it was Christmas.
Fahoo wahoo yahoo bahoo!
HOME ALONE is one of my favorite movies! It's such a great one, and the sequel, too. The 3rd one was horrible, but the first 2 weren't!
"Drop the change, ya filthy animal"... there are some of the greatest lines in that movie.
Oh my GOD!!!! I haven't even started my lists yet!!!!!
Aww I love Christmas too!
*pulls out Christmas Vacation, White Christmas, and A Christmas Story*
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" was and always will be my favorite holiday classic, followed by (in a very close second) "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
Has anyone ever seen a special called the Christmas Toy? With Rugby, Apple, Mew, etc??? That's one of my favorites, but I don't know of many people who have seen it.
I just saw a newer Home Alone in the rental store...taking back the house or something like that??? What is up with that? lol.

137 days until Christmas means about 90 days before I start hearing about it everywhere. So I have a good 3 months to find a way to go into seclusion.
I don't know what to put on my list!!!

Speaking of Christmas...Cleveland will now have the largest Chistmas tree on display...bigger than the tree is Rockefeller Center.

I actually have "The Christmas Toy" on VHS from back in the day. It was made by the Jim Henson company, so it's kind of muppety. I used to watch it all the time.
My favorite Christmas movie of all time is and forever will be "Christmas Vacation." Followed by "Home Alone" and "Home Alone 2."
I was never a fan of the original Grinch movie. And I've seen "A Christmas Story" too many times to enjoy it anymore, I believe.
I LOVE CHRISTMAS!
last night I saw the most typical christmas movie ever!
it's a wonderful life.
I have seen this movie too much times.
A CHRISTMAS STORY and IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE and old version of RUDOLPH, where he meets the elf who wants to be a dentist, are my favorite christmas movies ever. It is not christmas without those movies.
Yes, but when it is all said and done, Cleveland will still be Cleveland.
No not that horrid Grinch movie!!! "How the Grinch stole Christmas" the 30 minute cartoon with Boris Karlof reading the story to you!!
"You're a mean one Mr. Grinch.
Your hearts an empty hole!...."
I like Santa Claus is Coming To Town, the claymation one, better than Rudolph.

Oh Cleveland can have the tree, I remember being very excited to see the tree when I was about 7 and when I got there and I looked up at that big lit up tree all I remember is saying to my parents "It's just lights. Where are the decorations?"
I've never been a fan of the big tree.
Good for Cleveland. But I'll really applaud when you get all the tourists there too. So we can do our shopping in our own stores instead of fighting people who could stay home and shop in their own malls. Never understood that.

I've never been that excited about the Rockefeller Center tree in December. It's gorgeous and all, but it just never got me all excited like it does others.

Somehow, the annual pilgrimage to the Rockerfeller tree in sub-zero weather has never been the highlight of my holiday season. Fancy that.
