Haha that was a funny episode!! I am so grateful mine were pierced when I was a baby, so I don't remember the pain.

I watched the first airing of this episode in slack-jawed amazement at her unbelievable ego that believed the entire country wanted to watch her cry and whine and beg for mercy to get her freakin' EARS PIERCED. Five year olds handle it with less drama.

It really doesn't hurt that much, Oprah! I hate needles, etc and I tense up when I know its coming, but its like a 20 sec sting.

Is there no one out there she can interview? At least the bra episode was informative!

I got my ear pierced in May. I barley felt a thing... it's not that bad. but I'll for sure tune in to watch oprah squeal... sounds fun... (?)

Wow! what an ego. First she is miffed because she can't get into a store that has closed. Now we wait (well not me. Have never watched her show) with baited breath as she gets her ears pierced?

And who cares that she didn't get to go shopping? Boo Hoo, the store was closed, go back another time, woman! They were giving airtime on news channels asking, "What do you think the repercussions will be?" If she goes and whines about not being able to shop at Hermes, then that proves she'd nothing but a elitist. Her best friend, Gale, said, "It was the most humiliating experience of her life..."

WHAT? You mean being raped as a child couldn't compare to not being able to shop?!

Don’t even get me started on the fact that she wore RED to her Black and White dinner that “honored the most influential black women”. She had to have everyone stare at her.

I can't believe the most mundane things with her seems to make headlines.....

She and Tom Cruise should get married.
