I only give out cookies to the people who earn them (like the gold stars in school) New_philosophy_girl earned them today by posting BGG's b-day thread while I couldn't log on. So you'll just have to try again tomorrow.

Ya know. If every time one of the uber-wackos appears, everyone would just put them on ignore, it would be the end of the problem.

And on that note, I'm signing back off into oblivion. I don't even know what's going on any more anyway, and it just doesn't seem worth the effort to try to catch up.

There used to be witty friendly (and witty not-so-friendly) banter and arguments, but periodic spot checks lately just seems to show an influx of posters (or maybe it's the same poster with multiple identities...) with heavy-laden pathology and no real ability to turn a phrase.

Mom, I can't imagine anyone being mean to you. This shook you up, though, I can see that, don't worry! I think maybe this is just a dopey kid having what he thinks is fun - he doesn't know any better. Forget him. You need a cyberhug from all of us. I know we're not given to warm and fuzzies on this board, but sometimes they're needed - along with the reassurance of warm, chocolate chip cookies that you give us.
