From CNN: Gov. Sarah Palin on Wednesday said Sen. Barack Obama has ties to a Columbia University professor who she said is "a former spokesperson for the Palestinian Liberation Organization."
I am so sick of her lies and accusations. They are getting more and more desparate by the minute. Why doesn't the Obama camp talk about her husband's ties to the group that wanted Alaska to secede from the US? That's not a lie.
More of Palin's nonsense

My grandfather used to drink tea with Trotsky.
I guess I better not run for anything.
The closest ties anyone in the race has to a radical are McCain's ties to G. Gordon Liddy.
Boy they are really grasping at straws.

And yet no one seems to care that she's married to a successionist. Or that she's pretending her grandchild is her child.
I'm so tired of all of this s**t too! Fox News has been all over this. Obama has continued to take the high road. However, with all of this, I would love to see an ad where they show McCain's speech where he addressed the audience as "My fellow prisoners." Or where he "inadvertently" said he agreed with Murth in Pennsylvanis- where he said "I couldn't agree with him more" (on the racists comments he made). If they are going to keep doing these character attacks then It's On! Hell, the could even do a commercial where Palin is saying she wanted to know more about what a VP does (which she said was a lame joke- when it obviously wasn't) and then show her give the incredibly wrong answer saying that a VP is in charge of the senate. just sayin'
I was talking to a co-worker about the Alaska secession story, and she had a great line for Obama ... "You may be able to see Russia from your house, but you want your house to break away from the White House."

McCain has ties to this same professor (to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars), so I'm not sure that's a road that his campaign should be going down . . .

Has anyone linked Obama to Kevin Bacon yet?
I wonder what Joe-da-Plumber thinks about all this. He seems to be an expert on all things presidential these days.

They don't care about McCain's connections. They only want to make Obama look bad to people who won't care what you say about McCain.
Good one, supportivemom!

But aren't those people already McCain supporters? They should be trying to persuade undecided voters (or to dissuade Obama voters).
And for supportivemom:

Moral of the story?
All professors are terrorists. In fact, all smart people are terrorists. There's nothing more anti-American than intelligence. Better to hang out with decent folk, like hardworking, honest politicians from Alaska. Oh wait...

Obama emailed Scarlett Johansson.
Scarlett Johansson is in He's Just Not That Into You with Jennifer Aniston.
Jennifer Aniston was in Picture Perfect with Kevin Bacon.
(Using talk shows is cheating :-P)

They don't care about persuading moderate undecideds or Obama voters.
It's all about energizing the base.
That's why they use labels that we think are silly: "socialist," "redistribute the wealth," "domestic terrorists," "Palestinian sympathizer." These are words they think will encourage a larger percentage of the base to come out and vote.
Wow! I was just kidding! I knew one of my creative fellow posters would find an Obama/Bacon link! Thanks!

Plus they just love enraging liberals.
They will get theirs.
And tonight, Obama's 30 minute informercial will reportedly feature Colin Powell and Warren Buffet. These smears will seem even smaller when those two show their support for Obama.
I can't wait to see what Olbermann and Maddow say about this.

I think you are absolutely right . . . fortunately, even huge base turnout won't save them this time, because there are more Democrats and Independents, and the Democrats are energized and excited. We just have to make sure they vote, too!
On CNN, Anderson Cooper's fact-checker looked into this allegation, and categorized it as 'false/misleading'.
In my dreams, Palin goes down in the history books (as a footnote of course) as the woman who smeared and smeared the man who would go on to be one this nation's greatest leaders.

Priest - let's hope! I also hope that she is impeached in Alaska so we do not have to hear from her other than when we watch FoxNews to see what the other side is lying about.

This is all about South Florida. If McCain loses Florida he loses the election. This is probably the most anti-Semitic pandering we've seen thus far.
