Oh, I can pretty clearly hear the boos.

Why the hell would you cart your kids around like this? I don't see Obama's kids campaigning like this- because they are in school! Even little Piper has learned to wave like a beauty queen. They introduced Palin as the Best Hockey Mom in America? Puhleeze!

I think they said "best-known hockey mom."

I wonder what Palin's career will be once she drives her SUV back to Alaska after losing the election? Think she will win her next gubernatorial bid?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Tee Hee! I feel bad for the kids. Can you imagine being the little one and walking out with your mommie and getting booed? I hope they have good therapist in Alaska.

Lus, so true! It is so hard to get the little things right. I was in the car with my 15 year old today and I told her that she should use a code word to me when I am just being cranky for no reason! What is the code for using your children as political pawns!

Joe, do you think so? I think she will be seen as the one who sank McCain's bid for the White House. She might run but I doubt she will get the nod.

does everyone remember when obama did that family interview with extra or access hollywood, and the mccain campaign blasted him for being "irresponsible" and a bad parent. it was a fairly big deal.
what of this then? pitbull sarah brings her kids to everything for photo ops.
love the boos.

I don't see her as the Republican nominee in 2012. I think Pawlenty or Jindal have a better chance. A lot of focus has been on the crazy fringe conservatives who have been attending her rallies, but there really are non-religious, thoughtful conservatives who have no use for her. She could be a factor in the primaries, like Huckabee was, but I don't see her getting the nomination. She's virtually unelectable, and the Republicans do seem to find a way to put up an electable candidate every four years.

I don't know if she will get the nod in 12, but she is immediately the front-runner. She stirs up the base in a way Pawlenty or Jindal don't.

Agreed, but the base isn't enough. If it were all about the base, McCain never gets the nomination this year. It's easy to view the Republicans as monolithic, because that's where all the noise comes from. But there really are intelligent, moderate Republicans.

I really think the candidate Democrats have to worry about is Bobby Jindal, who could probably give Obama a real run for his money in 2012.

Perhaps not, but it still doesn't look good for her.

I am a lifelong Philly sports fan and I assure you if I was there I would have booed too. Yes we booed Beyounce when she did half time for the 76ers/ Lakers NBA final when she wore a Laker's jersey in nPhilly to perform(idiot move), we booed and threw snowballs at Santa because he was drunk and making Lewed gestures. So yes we booed a women because this was just another stupid ploy from the McCain campaign to make it seem she is just like us. I know the organist for the Flyers and he said it was very loud.
The reason she even got to do this is because Ed Schnieder, owner of the Flyers, is a huge republican.
