A Christian fundamentalist pastor known for protesting a gay festival in New Orleans was arrested on an obscenity charge after two women said he was masturbating in his van while parked near a playground, according to news reports.
Storms told sheriff's deputies he ate lunch at the park and had to go to the bathroom, so he was urinating in a bottle in the van, but then later acknowledged the inappropriate conduct, WDSU TV reported.

"Storms said he is seeking help for a problem with pornography, which he called a recent issue. He also said he is not living at home -- he held the news conference from a motel -- and he asked for the media to respect his privacy."
He wants his privacy, so he held the press conference outside the hotel he was staying in...
