Pat Boone: Homophobe

Oh Pat just die already!

Pat Boone: Homophobe
(He is SUCH a bottom!)

Kentucky GOP Pushing Anti-Gay Message In Final Days Of Gov Race

Going into the home stretch in in the Kentucky gubernatorial election, the Republicans appear to have brought out one last card: Paranoia against gays.
The state GOP is now sending a robo-call throughout the state featuring none other than Pat Boone, warning that as a Christian he is concerned that Democratic nominee Steve Beshear, who has been way ahead in the polls, will work for "every homosexual cause."

"Now do you want a governor who'd like Kentucky to be another San Francisco?" Boone asks. "Please re-elect Ernie Fletcher."

And at a campaign stop last night, the Lexington Herald-Leader reports, the Republican nominee for Lt. Governor made a direct attack upon the Democratic ticket: "Do you want a couple of San Francisco treats or do you want a governor?"

I look forward to hearing Laura Ingraham tell this over-tanned, corpse-like has-been to "shut up and sing."

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

Paranoia against gays may well be their last card, but it's proven time and again to be quite effective.

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

Nope, won't happen. Dixie Chicks, Springsteen,John Fogerty,The Eagles, and so on they have to shut up and support our war and President. On the other hand, Charlie Daniels,Ted Nuggent, Pat Boone, and Toby Keith get a free pass. You know the "good Music".

Keep dreamin' honey, if Kentucky were the new gay Mecca I still wouldn't move my gay ass there!

I can't decide whether this comment below the article is a joke or...well...otherwise:

Ernie Fletcher and Robbie Rudoplh (sic) are God's appointed men- you watch on Tuesday there will be a miracle and they will win.

I'm not even going to vote, that's how much faith I have they're going to win.

If you own land in Kentucky, YES!

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

Toby Keith has declared he is a Democrat who never supported the war...just the troops and the country, if I'm not mistaken.

That doesnt mean he's not a homophone...i mean homophobe.

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

I've heard him explain that as well. However, he likes George Bush and did support the war. He jumped on the anti Dixie Chick bandwagon early and even though he says he is a Democrat I think he's a Democrat like Liebermen was a Democrat.

Or a Democrat like Reagan and Phil Gramm were Democrats.

Or that psycho from Georgia.

Dixie Carter is a Republican! Kinda...

No, I meant that Zell Miller loon.

Are you sure you're not talking about Bernice?

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

Bernice is a liberal loon, and has the black illegitimate son to prove it!

It seems that the feud between Keith and Maines was over her mocking his patriotic song (this may be his version of events) and then he criticized her and so on...I dont know...and have no idea why I'm defending someone I think is so untalented, but I'm just not sure he should be lumped in with those other hate mongers.

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

The Dixie Chicks bashed Bush.Toby Keith right after that had a huge banner at his concert with Saddam Hussein and Natalie Maines. No misunderstanding about that. He wasn't showing support, he was trying to be popular and joined in bashing the Chicks. He gained popularity from the Country Music industry and joined in more or less on the Dixie Chicks boycott. He is a major asshole and I believe still supports Bush.

Go out and rent "Shut up and Sing". Its a great film and they do a play by play on what happened. He's a dumb redneck who tried to gain popularity by bashing the Chicks.

Doodle, you’re right; that Maines/Keith feud was going on before her Bush comments.

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

Does Pat Boone live in Kentucky or does he still live in California? I forget....

And all that work he's had done? Please. If he can afford all that, he can afford to move to Kentucky. It would then become the honest-to-goodness Boone-docks. [So shoot me. I hate puns as much as you do.]

His equally loopy wife tried to raise Rock Hudson from the dead by having some prayer feast over his corpse which wasn't even cold at the time.

I guess someone must take him seriously. I just don't know whom.

Debbie?
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

re: Pat Boone: Homophobe

He lives in California. He's as white bread as utterly possible.

Did you know that he used to own a pro basketball team in the 1960s called the Oakland Oaks in the American Basketball Association. They only played the first two seasons of the league's existence from 1967-69. Rick Barry was the star of team, and he led them to their only ABA title in their second season before moving to Washington and became the Capitols. Boone hired Barry's old coach at Miami (FL) Bruce Hale, who would later become Barry's father-in-law for the first season before stepping down after the first season.

Zell Miller is a Democrat in name only--what a jackass!

He looks like he smears his body in Albolene.
