my post from the other thread: OMG that was a HILARIOUS episode. Jack telling off Patti, picking her off the floor, jack trying to cut her hair, and jack and will singing with her was great (Eric McCormick has a great voice). Also that thing about "I have hair from blah, blah blah, and Idina Menzel" was great too. I NEED this episode on dvd.

There still is considerable bad blood between Patti and ALW. However, "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" is her signature tune and she still sings it in her concerts. Rarely, if EVER, will you hear her sing anything from SUNSET BOULEVARD.

Incidentally, the swimming pool in LuPone's Connecticut home is named the "Andrew Lloyd Webber Memorial Swimming Pool". She had it installed with the settlement money she got when Webber dumped her from the Broadway show.

I saw the episode and was good. But I wasn't as impressed with Patti as I usually am. At least I got to hear her singl a little at the end.

Thanks for the info DP. I wish they had given LuPone a bigger role. She could have carried a show all by herself. I think it would have been funnier if Jack was stalking Patti at a charity event. He could show up backstage while she was getting made up, etc.

I also love Miss Patty and thought she should have had a bigger part with just her in the show and not sharing it with Goldblum. Did not think it was that funny. The show was better with just the four characters doing their thing. What happened to Vince. Did they show them breaking up. I was disappointed.
