It's not just you. They do. I've said it before and I'll say it again - no one has ever come close to Kelly. They should have quit while they were ahead.

I love kelly Clarksons new album. Love t. And you know what; i am not ashamed to say i also like Clay. Now Reuben is a let down and Fantasias new album is mediocre.

Don't get me wrong, I adore me some Ruben...but Diana DeGarmo and Fantasia was the best they could find?! Are you kidding me?! I want to stab myself just thinking about it.

Every year it goes more and more downhill. I think Diana had potential and the pressure got to her. She's a kid. Fantasia - well - she just sucks.

They keep trying because the producers and record companies want to cover the whole spectrum of the music industry. Which genre hasn't been covered yet?

Oh man, I will never forget that awful feeling the final night of AI 1 when I was so afraid the teenyboppers had voted Justin in. The feeling of relief when he said Kelly's name! Yeah, Justin sucks too. What a no-talent smarm machine.

Seriously though, they should have a sing off at the end with Kelly to see who actually IS the American Idol....therefor the crown will never be tarnished by the likes of crappy singers.

I've loved Clarkson since AI1. She's got a great voice: style, power, range (!), etc. However, with training, she could be amazing.

I LOVE Kelly, and I am not ashamed. WOOT WOOT!! I also have to admit that I like Clay's voice........Hate his neurotic fans (like my mom).......but I dig Clay's voice. The boy can sang. Now, if you can get a song where Kelly and Clay do a duet, the gates of heaven shall open and a heavenly host of angels shall sing of it's wonder.

Since you all love Kelly so much I just thought I'd mention she'll be on the Ellen Show this week (I think Friday but don't hold me to that - check the website to make sure)

My sis in law wanted her wedding song to be Moment Like This so...enough said.
