I know it is a off-topic (I AM on the off-topic board and i started it...what am I saying..), but I always enjoying your posts, TheatreDiva90016 and RobbO. I don't think I get it all the time, but I just do enjoy. Just want to say that.

Puh-leeeze people, They have bright lights shining in their eyes and can't see you at all. If they can make out anything, it a shape of a human sitting in the seat.

That's actually not always true. Depends how the spolight is hitting them and where the person in the audience is in relation to the actor. I'm not validating a lot of these cases (ie: eye contact during SOL in Rent), but I am saying it is completely possible.

The last time I made eyes at the audience...

I was really just trying to get the woman in the front row to hand me her water bottle because I was choking. She was too busy talking on her cell phone and text messaging her boyfriend on her Blackberry.

I was carried off on a stretcher but not before I signed an autograph for her at the stage door.
