President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden, along with members of the national security team, receive an update on the mission against Osama bin Laden in the Situation Room of the White House, May 1, 2011. Seated, from left, are: Brigadier General Marshall B. “Brad” Webb, Assistant Commanding General, Joint Special Operations Command; Deputy National Security Advisor Denis McDonough; Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton; and Secretary of Defense Robert Gates. Standing, from left, are: Admiral Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; National Security Advisor Tom Donilon; Chief of Staff Bill Daley; Tony Binken, National Security Advisor to the Vice President; Audrey Tomason Director for Counterterrorism; John Brennan, Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism; and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper. Please note: a classified document seen in this photograph has been obscured. (Official White House Photo by Pete Souza)
The "humanness" captured in this photo is potent.
Brad Webb is the only one not looking forward (presumably at a screen).
What's he doing on the computer? Updating his facebook status? Tweeting? On BWW posting his final Tony predictions?

Obama was rushed from the golf course. You can see they threw a jacket over his golf shirt. Everyone else is wearing business attire, but Obama shows up in golf shirt and cleats.
Yes, that's because he normally plays a few rounds of golf on Sunday morning, which he did not do on this day.
He dressed that way so no one would get suspicious.
Except YOU have to whine about the way he’s dressed.
Goth, please just STFU.
Facts Must Suck When You Are Wrong
The morons on Fox are already starting the rumor mill about verification of Bin Laden's death. I guess they'll be called 'Deathers'? The three stooges that host their morning show really showed their ignorance when they were questioning the decision to bury him at sea.
However, I'm not sure how well their disinformation tactics will work with this. Sure, the fringe will latch onto anything Fox 'News' tells them, but the more details we learn about this mission, the better Obama looks. This was far, far more than him just being president at the time when we found Bin Laden. I have no doubt that Bush's administration would have blown this opportunity.
That photograph is history.
I can't stop looking into Hillary Clinton's face.
And while Goth and his ilk are trying to put a negative, partisan spin on anything that crosses their sights, Obama invited Bush to join him at Ground Zero.
Though Bush declined

Goth...the following quote was posted by one of my Facebook friends yesterday, and I immediately thought of you.
"Obama could $h*t sunshine and conservatives would complain that he didn't give them sunglasses"
This is the time to put political views aside and remember we are all AMERICANS. It saddens me that people like Goth still have to find flaws in OUR President. What ever happened to the respect we gave our Presidents? How can Americans expect other countries to respect us when we can't even do it amongst ourselves?
Very well said boobsie!
JustAGuy, great comment & sadly it is too true, sometimes there is no pleasing some people.

It went out the window when people like you and the others posting above slammed Bush. We are worse off now that we were when Bush was in office.
And Reginald's comment is exactly the problem. People would criticize Bush if he had showed up to Ground Zero, people would criticize Bush if he hadn't.
Either take your lumps like we did when Bush was in office or shut up.

Just for the record, Broadwayboobs has never posted a comment, nor uttered a word, slamming any president. ANY president.
Need a pair of sunglasses, Goth?
I don't usually feed the crazies but it's just so stupid at this point. Goth, I don't actually think you believe what you write here. It's just so off the mark and well, stupid, that I'm convinced it's all an act. It's like you have reverse Münchausen syndrome.
Goth, you don't recall a weensy little event like impeaching President Clinton? You honestly think finding fault with a sitting president started with Bush? Really?
And did you notice that I, in fact, did NOT criticize President Bush. I think it would have been fine if he'd accepted the invitation.
So how, exactly, is my comment "the problem"?
Jordan, Goth has admitted before that he knows he's not telling the truth.
He explains it, of course, by saying it's behavior he learned "from the liberals."
And you're right: there's no point in engaging with him.
And then there's the fact that Nancy Pelosi (of all people) called Bush to thank him for his part in Bin Laden's death.
The only people who seem unable to behave well in the current situation are Sarah Palin and Goth.
Nice gesture
Oh, Reg, there are PLENTY of people over at Fox 'News' who don't know how to behave in this situation.

And Gretchen Carlson was the voice of reason!

I remember during the 9/11 tragedy, one of the few bright spots was the bipartisan support given our president during a time of crisis. I wondered aloud to a friend whether Republicans would support a Democratic President in the same way if the situation were reversed. He chided me saying "Of course they would; we are all Americans."
I think the last few days have illustrated the ugly truth.

It's hard to support a leader when he has to "sleep on" major decisions like should we get Osama bin Laden.

And if he made a snap decision in 16 minutes, you'd be on here criticizing that. Gotham, no matter what Obama did, he can't win in your eyes and I find your posts pathetic.
You're right: much easier to support a leader who just blunders into a situation.
Or one who, as he himself said, was "truly not concerned" with getting Bin Laden.

Or better yet, let's support a president that invades a country under false pretenses.
