I don't know how many of you are familiar with his work, but it's an intriguing and rather thought-provoking commentary on the mass consumption practice of today's society.

Is that photo created or is it of a real site?

I am fairly certain that the photos from that exhibit (Running the Numbers) are all digitally created.

You should look up photographer Edward Burtynsky, who also uses photography to document human and industry's effect on the planet, in fascination, hauntingly beautiful images.
