I have two grandmothers who are in need of good thoughts. My grandma on my dad's side of the family just moved to a new house and will be going under hip surgery soon. My grandma on my mom's side has been in a coma for a long time and has to stay in bed with some breathing problems. I'm hoping they'll both be all right. Please send your prayers and thoughts 'cause it will be very much appreciated.

My grandma had hip surgery back in '97. She lived through it. I don't do a very good job at making people feel better.

my dad had hip surgery........not a problem....the problem is AFTER, when they go through phusical therapy......he was a wuss and would not do as told, so he'll limp for wherever.......
whereas a friend of his had hip surgery at the same time, DID the physical therapy, and is playing tennis as well as ever

OK...I'm gonna try to ask something that may sound totally bitchy, but I really don't mean it to be. I don't understand why you're concerned for your grandmother's being in bed if she's in a coma. I don't know of many people in comas and not in beds. Unless, of course, she's come out of the coma but is now experiencing other problems related thereto.

As for the hip, never fear...those surgeries are routine and MIRACULOUS!

Aren't all of these requests for prayers becoming a bit much. Isn't there such a thing as separation of church and message board. If you want people to pray for you and yours, go to a religious board. There, I said what alot of you out there are thinking. We can all go to hell now. Enough is Enough as Donna and Barbra said.
