Posted: 2/27/09 at 4:34pmGee, is it possible that Reed is right? Seth is an embarrassment who will not shut up and Betty Buckley should pop a valium and do "Eight Is Enough" the musical.

OMG, completly ridiculous. He should be fired for incompetence. Where are his ethics, if he is predjudiced against an artist he should recuse himself. Utter tabloid journalism. I hope everyone rushes to see Buckley now for themselves because if you have ever seen her perform, there is no actor-singer who can compare. I just checked and she has many rave reivews for this performance. I just wish I could get back to town in time to cheer her on and start the revoltion against cruel and arrogant reviewers like him.

I think you should write a letter to the Editor of the New York Observer, asking where Rex Reed's ethics have gone to.

Yes, but to paraphrase Ira Gershwin:

When no boy will give in
To no man who's 900

"If I had an affair with Jack the Ripper," sighs Valley of the Dolls Novelist Jacqueline Susann, "the offspring would be Rex Reed."

Rex Reed's review was positively delicious.
May his freewheeling, bitchy nastiness continue for a long, long time.
