I've always liked Portia De Rossi. Though I enjoyed her on Ally McBeal, her role as Lindsay Bluth Fünke on Arrested Development is just wonderful. And her marriage to one of my favorite female comedians made me so very happy. For some reason I kind of hold Ellen on this strange pedestal for being one of the first major people to come out and experiencing such a negative backlash. Growing up it was just nice to see a positive role model, especially since I was in such a homophobic environment (to the extent that my sister and I were banned from watching the episode of Friends where there is a lesbian wedding). But I definitely enjoyed this video. I'm glad to see the issue is still being brought up.

I showed this to a friend of mine who is a big fan of hers and a HUGE Arrested Development fan. He said that when this came out. Michael Cera did a "PSA" for one of the many Arrested Development fansites saying that he is sorry to the people who supported the marriage ban that he is friends with an socialized and associated himself with someone who is a lesbian. I thought that one was funny as well.
