Little Green Footballs, which is even farther to the right of Free Republic, has a thread going called "An Insanely Biased Debate Moderator" that states that "Gwen Ifill should step down as moderator of the vice presidential debate: A debate 'moderator' in the tank for Obama. Come on now. This is getting completely ridiculous."
Here are a few of the creepy comments from the right-wingers at LGF:

Man, this is rigged.
They should replace her with somebody a bit more objective like Keith Olberman
She makes a living working for PBS. That really tells you all you need to know.
Watch for Biden to develop some serious medical condition by Monday, and Hillary will jump right in to save the democraps. I will bet anyone here a beer on it.
Let Palin include in her very first answer to the very first question: "By the way, Gwen, I note that you have a book coming out on Inauguration Day. If I'm not mistaken, it's called 'The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.' Given your article in Essence Magazine, 'At Home with the Obama Family,' I'm sure you are going to be working extra hard not to let your political favoritism affect the way in which you moderate this debate -- aren't you?"
She can have the first 45 minutes and Rush Limbaugh can have the last 45 minutes.
I'm sorry to say I to am not happy with McCain. I was a Rudy backer and Thompson. That being said I will swallow my pride and unhappiness and crawl if I have to to vote for McCain. The alternative is too horrific to think about.

Posted: 10/1/08 at 2:42pmWhile this is much ado about nothing (even Papa acknowledges that Ifill is fair), the last thing McCain/Palin really want right now is a new moderator. They've studied Ifill's performance in the prior VP debate and prepped Palin accordingly. If a new moderator is named now, who do you think can adapt better, Palin or Biden? No, they don't want anything changed, they just want to be able to play the victim card.

Posted: 10/1/08 at 2:50pmI have a solution - the 9PM start is Rachel Maddow's usual time slot anyway, I'm sure she'd be more than happy to step in!!!
