romantico, why don't you take off the rose colored glasses and view the real world.

Let's take an example. When Obama wouldn't shut up during "God Save the Queen" there were at least five US news readers who said the Queen should have stepped in and covered his gaffe. That's the point, when he's acting like an idiot, the media tries to cover for him and blame someone else.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

No Obama didn't make an honest mistake. A toast is supposed to be a short two or three sentences. He believed that he could just talk on and on and on. Then when the music began, he should have just shut up. He believes that everything is about him, all the time. Then the media tries to cover for him by blaming the Queen.

Comparing the two of these is asinine and listing off gaffes in each case is too. At the end of the day we should not expect our leaders to be perfect. We should merely expect them to recognise their imperfection. I believe Obama does that. Bush didn't realise reading to toddlers was the wrog thing to do at that moment...

Goth, Bush was an epic failure. He took a surplus, and turned it into one of the largest deficits in our history. These are facts. No matter how much your precious Fox News tries to spin it. Obama stepped in and saved us from plunging into a hole that would cause us to sink into a depression that would equal the Great Depression. These also are facts...go and read up. Many, many, MANY respected economist's around the nation agree. But of course...since they are supporting Obama they must be "bias"
