I have to admit I get a little kick out of imagining the head implosions of some of the viewers.
Me too! I'd love to see him serenade Sean Hanity live on TV.

I read this comment on Towleroad:
"I think his visualization of Bohemian Rhapsody was his best performance.
To take bits from that song and make it about a pampered prince, perhaps heartbroken, throwing tantrums....just fabulous!
And that twist of lyrics at the end("nothing really matters but me") was pure icing."
So I went and found it. I like it.
"Nothing really matters but me."
I don't see him winning the competition but I suspect we will see more of him after the show is over. Would I pay to see him in Vegas? No. I really don't find him that exciting but he is interesting. I find the make-up and costumes to be more interesting than the act itself. JMO
He's like one of those Easter egg ornaments. Pretty on the outside, but light, empty and fragile. It wouldn't take much to cause his act to crumble.
I like him, and his story...but prefer this dude from the Phillipines:

Now that was entertaining!

The Price has let me down tonight. Nessun Dorma. I really thought he was going to be the one to stay away from it, but sadly fell into it like every other male opera singer on the show.
We never watched any season of this show. But we were channel surfing one night and landed on Prince Poppycock. Now we have become a little obsessed with him. He makes me shake my head and say "what the..."
I totally don't get it..but love it at the same time.
I think the costumes and characters are more interesting than the singing too. But I really can't see who else would work as a Vegas act? Certainly not a 10 year old little girl. I haven't really been watching except here and there so I am not sure who the other 2 finalists are? A guy singer I know, but I've never heard him so don't know if he's any good? Who's the 4th finalist? Isn't the big prize a Vegas show?

I was happy that the 4 finalists were who they are and would not be disappointed regardless of who wins now. I have voted for all four in the past, spreading my votes out. While I'm definitely a Prince Poppycock fan, last night I thought the most deserving of my votes were Jackie Evancho and Michael Grimm.
Like StockardFan, I'm not sure I see where Evancho would fit in as a Vegas act, but then again perhaps the novelty of such a talented child singer would be the draw.
Michael Grimm can for sure sing! I've loved each and every one of his performances on AGT, especially "When A Man Loves A Woman" -- he did a terrific job!
Fighting Gravity is the other act in the finals; they're a black light performing group. Visually their act is quite entertaining imo.
Here are links to videos at YouTube which include all (or most) of each finalist's AGT performances:

"I was trying to give America a fairytale ending, emphasis on the fairy."
That's right, Fighting Gravity! I could see them as a Vegas act.

I'm sorry but he bores me to tears. If people think Gaga is contrived, this boy is every 80s cliche rolled into one. He does nothing for me. I don't really see what people see in these performances.
I think he owes alot of his success to Gaga's current popularity.
I think he's hot as a guy though.
So, is he out of the finals? Even if he does not win he now has a pretty good size fan base. He is on Facebook and Twitter and has several fan pages. Question is, will Prince Poppycock just be a character of his or will he do his own stuff? This guy could do theater or Opera perhaps or become a Pop star.I say give him a show in Vegas.

It's all over - the male blues singer won (with that little exorcist child as the runner-up.)

He has some stuff on Poppycock's website about himself too. Also, it appears that it was was the producers who forced Nessun Dorma for the finale. He had planned for Yankee Doodle to be the finale, but the producers kept pushing for Nessun Dorma.
Yankee Doodle would have been better for his finale. Piers should not have buzzed him, but I think his criticism was honest. I would have allowed him to finish and then go into what he didn't like. I'm sure we have not seen the last of Prince Poppycock.

That was just a dick move from Piers. It was the finals & just before the song's big finish.
