except for Bobby Van's "Answer Me A Question". I just can't resist Bobby Van!
I certainly hope that LH does come out on dvd very, very soon. And, in it's original road show version. The laser disc version is somewhat restored. And, when this film was being made, it got tons of press. So, you know that there are interviews, behind the scenes footage, etc........out there...somewhere.
Keeping my fingers crossed...
Released on DVD 0ct 4th 2011.

IT'S OFFICIAL! Lost Horizon will be released on DVD by "Sony Screen Classics by Request" (their on-demand division, like Warner Archives) on October 4th, 2011! I'm sure there will be plenty of other places to buy it, but here is a link I found online:

And for those of you "hard core" Lost Horizon fans, according to that description, they have found the long-missing "fertility dance" and it's back in the movie!
(For Lost Horizon geeks, this is the "holy grail" of missing footage!)
Well, I heard about it, a year ago. It took them long enough.
Knew this was coming out but was sworn to secrecy by a good friend. Glad to see that it is FINALLY seeing the light of day. One minor quibble: Hate that cover art.

I love the music to this movie and will buy the DVD. Saw it when I was much younger and found it to be an uplifting fantasy. Good cast.
