finale!

Beav, at first I saw the word "contestants" instead of "consultants". Yes, that's a good idea. Let's tell them how to run their program!!! LOL

First we'd get rid of Michael Kors and Nina Garcia. I say, let's get Dolce & Gabbana and Anna Wintour. Add some designs for a men's collection so we can see some yummy male models. Dottie's on a roll!!!

Jay was on an entertainment segment last night on CNN. The guy who was interviewing him did not have his facts straight. Jay was quite funny througout the short interview, especially when he mentioned that it seemed like the reporter didn't check the facts first.

Nix my Dolce and Gabbana suggestion for the next segment. I just read that the two are no longer a couple, but will continue to design.

Another judge I would NOT bring back is Anne Slowey. I thought because for the same reasons as Nina pretty much she was bad. Plus another thing was I felt she talked down to a lot of the designers, acted like a bug had crawled up her ass, and had no sense of style; especially when they first had her judge.

Okay enough of my rant.

Anne Slowey is some fashion person from Elle magazine or something. Still I agree with that. I can't remember who it was from e-Bay, but I totally agree with you.

I guess it just goes to show how different "taste" can be. I am a relative newcomer to the show and never say what exactly was so awful about Wendy. From what I saw, she was the only one who took the show seriously, didn't waste time by going out clubbing, was up and ready to work every morning and spoke her mind. From what I gather, her big sin was saying that the team leader on the "Future fashion" challenge was a bad leader-- which I think every contestant said behind his back. I saw the friction as caused by maturity. The "Kids" were there to make freidns and have fun and Wendy was there to work.

And the final show? I can't imagine how anyone could prefer Jay's line to Wendy's, but then I am looking at it as a merchant. I know which would sell more and found it amazing that Wendy's line was dismissed as being too commerical. But then again Kera's line was portrayed as being the most "Contemporary" when it was clearly a very 30's look. Jay's clothes, to my eyes, were hideous. Some of them looked like salvation army rejects. And what was with the headphones? It was very juvenile to me.

Beav,

Wendy also won the Grammy dress challenge (not that it changes my opinion of her).

Yes, I did notice that. Funny things is, I kind of liked the feathers!!

I wonder if Nancy O'Dell was at the Oscars last night wearing something by Austin.

Wolfgang Puck, oh another one I just can't stand for some reason.

I did just see Nora from PR walking up 40th street (between 5th and 6th) - wearing ankle warmers!
