Tim is definitely still involved (and definitely IS the show). There was some talk of him not having time to do the show before he signed the contrct, but now that he's not at Parsons anymore, that doesn't seem to be an issue, heh.
I went to high school and was pretty good friends with Ricky, one of the new designers. We lost touch about five years ago when we both moved. So it was a nice surprise to see his picture in Entertainment Weekly not too long ago. I hope he does well. I'm pretty addicted to the show. Can't wait!

"but now that he's not at Parsons anymore"
What happened?
He left Parsons to work as Liz Claiborne's chief creative officer (which I would assume gives him more free time for PR).
Anyone else here as big a dork as I and also own the Runway music cd?
I had no idea they had a CD.
Count me in. I think I might be one of the few who hopes that Blow Out never returns. I could do without plastic Jonathan.
I'll be there...and I hope they bring back Shear Genius.
yeah I also loved Shear Genius.

"Is Mood near Parsons?"
Yeah it is mom.
Mood is on 37th between 7th and 8th (closer to 7th) and Parsons is at the corner of 40th and 7th i believe
Only 5 hrs. and 57 mins. to go...

Well, it depends which Parsons building mom's talking about. I don't know where they do the show, but there's a Parsons building on 13th and 5th (under construction, though), 16th and 5th, and 13st between University and 5th, As well as the stated on 40th and 7th.
the one they show on the show is the one in Midtown
not to mention it wouldn't make sense for them to shop somewhere so far away. Especially since they are always showing them walking to Mood.

Well, as I've said, I've never seen the show and have no idea where Mood is -- I just wanted to clarify which building she was talking about, so it would be clear how close the store is to a certain Parsons building.

Not reading any comments yet... I'm here just to say - I'm so excited for tonight's PR!!
This season look like it's going to be CRAZY! I love it!

I'm staying on 7th and 53rd so it doesn't seem that far. I did mean the Parson they show on the show. Didn't mean to start a heated conversation on this. Really appreciate the input. The designers this year seem more experienced. I was a little disappointed overall with the designs since they had such nice fabric to work with.
Spoilers!!!
So far, my early favorite is Jillian (and some of the other guys as well, but I can't remember their names!).
I liked the winner's design, but would have give it to the one with the black dress and metallic flower.
Christian really irritates me, and his design was awful, I thought.
Simeon should not have gone home, the other girl (again blanking on names right now) with the long train should have been sent home. That outfit was a mess.

You should know this show better by now. They kept the designer with the blue dress and Dr. Seuss train because she was more of a character than Simone. When she said her design was a haiku and started talking all that flower child talk, I knew she was staying! If they are really irritating at the start, they'll keep them for a while (Angela? from last year). It makes for a good show. mom
Oy! I have missed this show.
I was almost giddy when they first walked into the design studio.
Going to keep quiet about my favorites till next week or so. I hate that I love a few of the contestants personalties but was so disappointed by the designs that they created.
SPOILERS
I thought the same thing mom. I knew of the bottom three that it wouldn't be the guy because they said his outfit was well made (and I was glad it wasn't him, because so far, I like him, though his dress was a bit boring). I knew it wouldn't be the crazy one, Elisa I think, because, like you said, they go for crazy. Example: Angela & Vincent.
I also preferred the black dress to the winning design, but I was glad mr. plaid-jacket Christian didn't win, because I sort of hate him. So far. Not to make a premature judgement or anything.
Overall, I was satisfied by the episode. I'm just glad to have my PR back

I loved it when Heidi said "It looks like she was pooing fabric"! That dress was pretty nice but what was she thinking with that train? And where did the grass stains come in? She must have trashed that idea. And I think Christian is going to be fun to watch.
It'll be in re-runs a million times before next week! Enjoy! I like the chubby guy's purple dress...Beautiful!
I know! I love that purple dress too. That and Jack's. Both of those were gorgeous. And Christian's was not pretty at all. And his hair: I hate to say it but it is ugly.
oh, and the winner's dress? It looked beautiful on the mannequin, but it made the model look fat. Did anyone else see that?
Yes, I can say, as a woman, that dress was beautiful, except no boob support!
Christian's hais does does, pardon the pun, wig me out!
I actually liked his outfit on the runway. But he is a bit too confident.
