President Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to the bone.

Sending my love to him and those who care about him.

Thank you.

This morning I completed my 39th (and final) radiation treatment.  Up next:  my fourth hormone therapy injection in August and another PSA blood exam in September.  And so it goes.

And once again, take care of your prostate.

It was first suspected that I have prostate cancer two years ago when my PSA tested high (6.9).  This week, following TURP surgery and completion of 39 radiation treatments, my PSA was tested again.  It is now down to only 0.1.  I continue with hormone therapy until next summer, wait a couple of months, and then see what the PSA reveals.  It will be that test that shows if I am actually cancer free.

For now, I am finished posting to this thread.  And again, please take care of your prostate!

President Biden has an aggressive form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones.  Wishing my best for President Biden.  I know he has a loving family, friends and the American public to offer their support.

Take care of your prostate!

Thank you!

In my first post in this thread, I said that I do not advise for or against having the PSA test to help determine the presence of prostate cancer.  In the past, the test was somewhat controversial because there were instances of false positive readings.  I can say only that without a PSA test, I might not have known that I have prostate cancer.  As it is, I probably will not know for another year whether I am cancer-free.  In the meantime, I am still upright, I am marking off my Bucket List items, and I am living a happy life.

Anyhoo.  Should anyone be interested, here is some info about the PSA exam and the importance of early detection.

Take care of your prostate!
