Sad. but there is nothing like a REAL Vanilla Coke from a diner! Now that's good stuff - chocolate coke is great too.

Robbo, have you ever tried Diet Cherry Vanilla Dr. Pepper? Certainly a mouthful, but definitely good if you looking for something to replace beloved Vanilla Coke...

The hoarding has begun. Does canned coke go bad? Just how much of a supply is it reasonable to stockpile if one consumes at the rate of one carton per week?

i've got pennsylvania - you take new york - we'll split new jersey.

i'd say 50 cases is a reasonable goal, flit.

I was aiming for 52. And FYI...the local A&P had some yesterday (at least until I bought 'em out...) Kidding. I'm trying to be ethical...and leave some for others.

if word travels as fast as it has been about the limited availability, i might even have to travel to *gasp* the south to get cases of DVC. luckily those people cannot read, so i think i'll be safe obtaining my stash there.....

Maybe I'll aim for 60 cases. By next year at this time, a beautifully-wrapped Fridge Pack might be just the ticket at holiday gift-giving time.

So, is there a regular Vanilla Coke, and is that going away, as well? Other than a regular Coke (Classic), I've only ever tried Coke Zero, which I'm addicted to.

And enjoy the beauty - all the joy and beauty - that a Merry Christmas can bring to you!

with gas $3.00 a gallon and the toll on the delaware memorial bridge, i'm afraid this might be a losing venture.

vanilla coke is being discontinued also. i don't know about diet lime...

yet, coca cola is adding black cherry varieties. odd.

"Coca-Cola said it plans to introduce Diet Black Cherry Vanilla Coke and Black Cherry Vanilla Coke in the United States in January 2006."

Buy gas in Jersey ... $2.29 a gallon and take I95 South to the first exit in Delaware--no tolls. Buy in volume.
