That episode might well have been entitled Much Ado About Nothing. I have never seen so much hoopla and angst about who said what...LuAnn's husband IS considerably older than she is. What's the big deal and why was she so upset about it? (I'm upset that he is apparently NOT that much older than ME...). And god, did she go on and on about it, even when Ramona apologized. I love that LuAnn then criticized Bethenny for going on and on about the "retouch" comment.
And how gross was Devorah, the Social Life babe... Ick.
And another thing that's getting on my nerves is the pushiness with which Ramona and Mario are shilling their jewelry line. And it bugs me even more that it's a line of religious jewelry, when they clearly aren't...
Have I mentioned how much I love this show? It is very therapeutic, giving me a focus for unloading all sorts of petty hostilities. Love it!

First of all, I only watched the Atlanta oe religiously, and I loved it. I'm ready for season two! The OC ones are just boring, and I never saw the first season of NYC. I decided to give it a chance, and I like it.
Kelly- I like her, but she doesn't do anything and seems out of place with the other Housewives.
Bethenny- She seems independent and the realest out of all the Housewives.
LuAnn- Oh Lord, what can I say about her? If I hear the word "Countess" one more time...The woman wasn't even born into noblity, she married into it, and she was the guy's fourth wife at that. Being a Countess doesn't mean you know more than the average person about etiquette and manners. And, you can't be a Countess and have the name LuAnn. The name reminds me of the character on "King of the Hill". Come on, now.
Alex- She's all right. She's just...there. Sometimes, she looks sickly, but I can tell she cares about her kids. I just don't like how she complains about having two televisions in the house, and I didn't like how she mentioned the fact she wanted to put up bookshelves with books by Dickens and plays by Shakespeare. Please, we all know it'll be just for show. Oh, and that cheap pool in the backyard? LOL. I read somewhere that she recently lost her job with Victoria's Secret.
Ramona- For some odd reason, I like her. She talks way too fast, and I'm thinking maybe her relationship with her husband is just for show (or not. Who am I to judge?), but I still like her though.
Jill- Sometimes I like her, sometimes I don't. She talks too much, but she says what others are thinking. And she's nosey and a gossip, but it keeps the show interesting.
I can't believe that these women got $8000+ for season one, while the people on The Hills and The City get way more than that.

I thought it was hilarious that Jill thought Ramona should "shut her big fat mouth" regarding her opinion on Victoria's going to boarding school. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black...

And fresh from Page Six this am: the count and the countess are splitting up. Seems that he has his sights on a newer model.
Luann made a point of saying that she'll still be a countess.
I know that I'm relieved.

OK, danmag, I think I may have solved the mystery of the random cheap goodie hair clip.
In last night's show she had one side of her hair pinned back with one towards the back of her head. Why she is using cheap goodie hair clips in the first place I have no idea. My theory is that she must have started out with her hair like that at the Hamptons party. All of her wild Elaine from Seinfeld dancing must have dislodged her hair, while the hair clip remained in the back of her head.
