Perhaps a flock of Jersey shore seagulls will fly up there and poop in their eyes!
This is a prime reason why I hate reality shows and attention mongering fools. Do people really have so little to do so as to be entertained by all the crap on TV today? Not knocking all TV,,,just this kinda junk.
Get from behind the square tubes and .... LIVE, LEARN, SHARE, CARE. That's the real world.
Have a nice day, y'all!

I think the screaming and the table turn over happens later in the season. Probably close to the finale.
This should be called The Real Mafia Housewives of New Jersey.
Teresa is a peice of work. Her daughter's lipstick for her dance recital was ridiculous. And of course she was the only one wearing any make-up at all.

Posted: 5/13/09 at 11:05amheres my question - dina and caroline are married to brothers who own the brownstone, right? but dina says her husband, tom, is working 24/7 - and we never see him - but joe, caroline's husband, is shown working and being at home with his family. i have a sneaking suspicion that tom is either in jail or doesnt want his face to appear on tv (maybe he's a goodfella), but im pretty sure hes not a work-a-holic.

Teresa thinks her husband is gorgeous. I guess that's important if you are going to be married to someone, but I think she is delusional.
There's a picture of them at the beach on the bravotv.com website and he isn't wearing a shirt. Looks like he's had one too many cannolis to me.

"This should be called The Real Mafia Housewives of New Jersey."
That is exactly what my mom said. People outside of Jersey often think that everyone is in the mob. This won't help things.
On the first episode of Real Housewives of BWW I'm going to have phone sex with PiraguaGuy2.

Teresa paid over $120K IN CASH for all that furniture.
Who else but the mafia keeps that kind of cash on hand?

I wonder how involved Bravo's screening process is. If they are all, indeed, mixed up with the mafia things could turn very sticky for Bravo should something happen.
But, if something does happen it could lead to ratings so maybe they just don't care.

Just watched it....oh, HELL YEAH!! This is just as crazy as I thought it would be! Loving Theresa having a house built entirely of marble, granite and onyx!
I can tell I'll hate Danielle (even though we have the same name). I think she's a beeyotch and a skank.
This season is going to be the BOMB.

Looks like Caroline and Dina's father-in-law (Albert "Tiny" Manzo) was rubbed out by the mafia.

There couldn't be a "Real Housewives of New Jersey" without a little "Sopranos."
The cast of the Garden State version of the Bravo series, filmed in and around Franklin Lakes in Bergen County, includes sisters Dina and Caroline Manzo, who married the brothers who own Paterson's storied The Brownstone, a catering hall that has been featured on the HBO series.
What's more, the paterfamilias of the clan, restaurateur Albert "Tiny" Manzo was found naked, partially bound in plastic and shot to death inside the trunk of his Lincoln Continental in Hillside in 1983. In a case that went all the way up to the state Supreme Court, the judges ruled that his widow could not collect on his life insurance policy because the 350-pound man lied on his application about having diabetes.
What else did we dig up on these Housewives? Dina Manzo, described by People magazine as an interior designer, event planner and founder of the children's cancer charity Project Ladybug, appeared with her future husband on VH1's "My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding."
The bill for the million-dollar-plus nuptials included a $10,000 Badgley Mischka gown, $50,000 for hand-blown glass butterflies, and nearly $500,000 in flowers. The tender memory of her future husband admitting on camera that he had cheated on her? Free.
Her sister Caroline is a mother of three and the owner of a real estate firm, and their brother Chris is married to another castmate, Jacqueline Laurita, a former cosmetologist turned stay-at-home mom. (She has a teenage daughter from another marriage and a six-year-old son with Chris.)
Rounding out the cast: Teresa Giudice, who has three young daughters with husband Joe, who owns a construction company, and Danielle Staub, a single mother of two daughters who boasts of being one of the first female American Express Black card members in New Jersey. In a clip reel shown to reporters last year, Staub boasted of 19 engagements and of kissing Mick Jagger. We're not sure which of those three accomplishments is more impressive.
The show premieres May 12. We know you're gonna watch.

Posted: 5/13/09 at 10:30pmmkay, aside from the madia angle did anyone see where dina parked when going to the "chateau" (the name of the salon reminds me of vintage 80s "all my children") -- the bitch parked croocked in the middle of a handicapped space, the cameraman clearly showed her in the blue lines and in front of the handicapped sign. bitch dont look too handicapped to me.
#43re: Real Housewives of New Jersey
Posted: 5/13/09 at 10:53pmMaybe she thinks mental handicaps count

Did anyone watch Rules of Engagement? Russell (David Spade) went to NJ to a party with Jeff and Audrey. He meets a skankily dressed woman and sleeps with her. Turns out that her brothers are in the mafia and he starts talking all "Soprano-like" and wearing track suits with a cabbie.
Thanks to Bravo and CBS for reinforcing the stereotype that everyone in Jersey is in the mob.
