What music, movies, tv shows reconnect you to your youth, that little kid inside that really has never gone away and brings a smile to your face?
for me:
the wizard of oz, mary poppins, the electric company for the kid in me.
for the teen in me it's listening to early madonna, shalamar, the facts of life, the cosby show and brat pack flicks.
borstalboy, you took me waaaay back with that video!
thanks for posting that!
As a little kid I was all about Alvin and The Chipmunks. I had the stuffed animals and would bring them downstairs into the living room on Saturday morning to watch the show with me.
80's music. Pat Benetar, Rick Springfield, Journey. Then later, it was all about the hair bands. Bon Jovi, Poison, White Snake.

When I was in high school, two songs were always playing when I was driving to work: Juice Newton's "Queen of Hearts" and Sheena Easton's "For Your Eyes Only". Those songs take me back to high school.
Also, the cologne "Grey Flannel" always reminds me of that time in my life.
Absolutely, Polly!
And, D_A, I was much more interested in the car and guy in front of it, than in the girl on the hood.
