Thank you for sharing that beautiful, heartfelt tribute, PJ. All my best to you and your Pal.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

It's perfect, PalJoey.

Bravo.

I will never forget Miss Holly. She was truly a Grande Dame.
And I loved her dearly. As I love you and your Pal.

My heart breaks for you as you move through this loss.
Hold fast to the memory of your final moments together, and the strength and tenderness shared.

And, I will forever believe that the spirit of Miss Holly influenced the historic vote.
So now PalJoey and his Pal can have an old-fashioned wedding.
And, that's a legacy of love.

I'm keeping your post forever. It's a gem.

I will never forget a night in 1981, when Jimmy Stewart (my favorite movie star of all time) made an appearance on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson, to read some of his poems.

He concluded with a reading of his poem, 'Beau', about his beloved dog.

Jimmy Stewart, reading this touching poem, absolutely caught my heart, and I've never forgotten it. He captured that empty feeling so perfectly. I just cried...

I bought the book of Jimmy Stewart poems. And read 'Beau' from time to time.
Because it's just so lovely. And real.

PalJoey, your empty feeling at the foot of the couch is a feeling that so many of us know. And our hearts break when we know a friend is feeling that pain.

I hope that knowing your loss is shared makes it just a little easier to get through these sad days.

A beautiful tribute to a beloved pet and family member. May Miss Holly rest in peace and may your memories of the happy times spent with her be a comfort to you. I lost my baby earlier this year. I know how difficult saying good-bye can be. My heartfelt condolences.

Oh, how I wish that wasn't so.
I'll always love

PJ, your tribute was so moving and heartfelt. Our pets are our family and they leave a huge imprint on our hearts. I send all my love and comforting thoughts to you and your Pal. As an animal advocate, I am so happy to know that Miss Holly was so loved and adored. I only wish all animals could feel that.

I truly believe that losing a long time pet is just as hard as losing a long time friend or even close family. The pain is just as real. But reading this made me feel very comforted in knowing that a beautiful dog had a beautiful home and family for her whole life. Truly amazing post, I am sorry for your loss
