To me, this was one of my childhood favorites in the 1990's growing up (my family had the VHS' of the restored versions), for it's adorable cast and a lot of funny, memorable, and well written short films. Care to share what's your favorite short or your favorite OUR GANG cast member?
My favorite short will always be MUSH AND MILK, and my favorite OUR GANG member was Spanky in his toddler days when he stole every scene he was in.

Posted: 12/16/14 at 8:15pmThese were brilliant shorts. I am amazed watching them today (I used to watch them on network TV in the 60s before I went to school) how while being racist is some of the visual gags, on the children's level, they were color blind and way ahead of their time.

Yeah, some shorts were racist but as a kid I didn't pay attention to that, I wanted to see this diverse group of kids getting into all kinds of adventures. It's too bad that no one told the makers of that god-awful, horrifying film version from 1994 that.
But going back to the superior shorts, I loved that when I watch these shorts again as I grow up, it's still awesome and funny as I remember them. It's one of those rare pieces of film that holds up perfectly despite the time it's set in.

From MUSH AND MILK:
"Don't drink the milk!"
"Why not?"
"It's spoiled!"
"Listen, I want to talk with Old Cap!"
"Well why didn't you say so?"
"OH!"
From RUSHIN' BALLET
"Alright where are you guys?!"
"There's nobody down here except us dummies."
Such great lines.

Alfalfa taught me everything I know about singing:
(This is why Reginald Tresilian never invites me to karaoke.)

@SNAFU, well they transferred the Cabin Fever Entertainment restoration to a complete DVD set if you know where to find it (Amazon). And I love it.
Here it is: https://www.amazon.com/The-Little-Rascals-Complete-Collection/dp/B001CDFY5U

Years ago, I read a synopsis of what happened to the cast in later life. Mostly all died prematurely including Alfalfa who was killed in a bar fight over $ 50. Even petey the dog did not escaped. Someone poisoned him
They brought a lot of joy especially to those mired in the depression
We Miss Woim, Wheezer, Buckwheat (who did not issue the classic line attributed to him). Kudos to Miss Crabtree, Alfalfa, Spanky and the rest of the gang

@Mr Roxy, I agree with you. OUR GANG was the right series that cheered up millions affected by The Great Depression and it was the medicine that they needed.
