Amy Holmes. She is an African American Republican strategist, looking for a boyfriend.
She was very articulate and made sense with all the things she said, although she was clearly biased.
She was a lot smarter than Elizabeth and more informed. But I guess it's good to have Elizabeth screaming like a kid all the time, since this other woman although they never got into an arguement, her views actually made sense, somehow.

I think when Elizabeth goes on maternity leave they should have Rosie fill in since she won't be a staying as a full-time co-host [if she's not already highlighting her own talk-show]

Tomorrows co-host is Sarah Fergasun and Thursday, not to be missed I am sure, Marie Osmond.
So Bitsy is at the White House with the Queen? That just makes me sad.

she was invited because she is one of the last bush supporters in the public eye.

I don't find anything honorable about meeting, and then diggest food in front of thieves, murderers and liars.
And all those rules about eating with the queen of England, you can't eat when she is done eating, Im like what the hell! what did she do? She was just born in a "royal" family. Please.
Brooke Shields will be a guest along Goldie Hawn and Gena Rowlands on Wednesday. I can't wait!

As mateo anticipated, yes, Elizabeth was talking about her conversation with the queen "Thanks your majesty, thanks!" Ugh, thanks for what? For coming over here to eat lunch or was it a dinner with the money of the hard working Americans? Please. Disgusting. W was very close to EH in the pictures they took. I'd rather eat alone than dining with W, Laura, the "queen", Rice and all those liars.

Posted: 5/8/07 at 4:57pmShe was simply dreary from a standard TV Q rating standard, though fairly politics neutral, aside from a vocal bit on abortion funding. I'd seen her on Bill Maher, and needless to say, she isn't my idea of a compelling pundit. She also seemed to genuinely want to bond with these gals (was she auditioning?) and sucked up commending the show's outspoken honesty. I'm sure she's brilliant. But then, so is Condoleeza. I still find these black Republican women fascinating. Like gay Republicans. And black gay Republicans -- there are a few of those who turn up on CNN. One in particular, a strategist, really is like a Saturday Night Live sketch. Yeah, yeah, I'm biased as hell. Scream at me Conservatives, all you want. Watching a 30ish black woman talk about trying to meet a nice Jewish man through an on-line dating service -- Amy's cute anecdote -- is sketch material, too.

Robin Roberts (GMA) devoted many segments to this, as she was a guest as well. She even stayed at the White House last night. In her picture, she too looked especially close with W. After seeing those pictures, I'm not sure which party she's affiliated with.

She made points without being strident and relying on second hand (and incorrect) information. She didn't just parrot back Bush's words. Plus, it was such a relief to be Hasselback free yesterday.
