I hope this season is the last, they keep killing off all the interesting characters. He is right though, his character was ridiculous in the last two years. I'm surprised he would complain considering he's been dating the main character for years now, and that might not go so well in the show's meetings.

If he and Emily Vancamp are still dating and they are living together, I hope he has another way of contributing to the rent since he isn't getting anymore checks from Disney/ABC. If I was an actor, I would stay on the program I was on for as long as I could. Jobs are hard to come by these days!

I was rooting for a Daniel/Emily pairing so this is disappointing. I think Jack continues to be completely inept and was hoping he'd die. The show is doing very poirly ratings-wise this season so I imagine it's going to end, I hope the writers are told about a possible cancellation early enough.

When was that announced? This interview with the showrunner from December 8 explicitly states that they are not approaching this as the last season (yet).

Yeah, we really are. There have always been talks [of a final season], and the network has been so wonderfully supportive, … There’s definitely the fear of when you make things real — like Victoria knowing that Emily is Amanda Clarke — it’s like, “Well, where do we go from here?” But to the credit of our writing staff, any corner we paint ourselves into is exciting for us because we always figure out how to get out of it. To say we’re approaching this as the last season would be wrong, but we’re not scared to make choices that will make people ask “Where is this going?”

I know it didn't, but really the way they did it, they're gonna have to do a lot to justify how it didn't happen. I can't imagine the last scene not featuring a showdown between Victoria and Emily, and again, it just seemed pretty definitive.

 

****END OF SEASON SPOILERS****

I did read that the finale ends in such a way that there's no way they could do the show with these same characters again, which to me suggests that both Victoria and Emily are going to die. I figured it'd be in a final showdown, now I wonder if Victoria did die and will appear in flashbacks*******

Wow.

Well, I really REALLY hope that she can get more film roles because of REVENGE. I've been a fan of hers ever since I can remember and getting to see her again every week has been fantastic for me these past 5 years.

Love that interview with Stowe. I had no idea she was so intelligent and self-aware. She is so right about season 3 being the perfect culmination of Victoria's journey. She certainly got a lot of critical acclaim for SHORT CUTS way back in the day and she classed up REVENGE. I hope she goes back to film too, Jordan, she's pretty fantastic.

A few years ago I read an article about Stowe's work in Haiti and I was impressed. Talk about being the antithesis of Victoria!
