Review my play?
Review my play?#1
Posted: 6/10/08 at 1:06amHey guys. At the moment, I am working on a musical that I would like to put on as a workshop at school at some point. I would like some feedback as to how it is going, and if you like it or not. I am not sure whether I want to ditch the songs and make it a play, so I would also like some opinions on that. It's only about 12 pages so far. Updated On: 6/10/08 at 01:06 AM

deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
like racehorses. We contemplate at last
shining windows, a future forbidden to no one.

Not at the moment. I haven't gotten a chance to record any of the music yet, just write it.

Maybe try get something like Finale and create MIDI files of your songs.
I'll PM you with my responses - this time with more than a blank message!

Posted: 6/10/08 at 11:21amYou know, the quality of your show doesn't matter! Get Cubby Bernstein behind you and you'll win a Tony!

Don't bother.
The fact that the character description of one of the characters is "is gay", rape jokes? I couldn't even finish it. I found it offensive and juvenile.
