Perry thinks the soldiers who urinated on the dead bodies of Afghanis were just "kids" that deserve a little "reprimand." He has accused the Obama administration of showing "disdain for the military" because they've demanded criminal charges be filed.
That sound you hear is Rick Perry continuing to grasp at straws, as his presidential campaign continues to fall apart.
Marines are kids, not criminals

What would Rick be saying if our soldiers, or other Americans, killed in combat were pissed on?
If during the Civil War Union officers had urinated on dead Texas Confederate soldiers, and Lincoln had offered such leniency because "boys will be boys;" how do you think Governor Perry would view such a theoretical episode in Civil War history?
How would he feel if during the genocide of native Americans, say the Texas-Indian Wars, Comanches had pissed on dead cavalry officers?

A desperate last ditch attempt to get some headlines and bolster his failed presidential bid.
He is a reprehensible and ethically bankrupt human being.
He'll be gone after Tuesday, and not a moment too soon.

What would Rick be saying if our soldiers, or other Americans, killed in combat were pissed on?
Or...what would he say, if his own son's body was the one that was being pissed on?
Perry's response clearly shows that he's unfit to serve on the local playground committee let alone as President of the United States. Texas deserves exactly what they got, when they elected him.
Go HOME, Rick and STAY THERE!

Republicans NEVER apologize. They see it as a sign of weakness. To them, the USA is NEVER wrong, even with stuff like this. Anyone recall Rush Limbaugh defending the Abu Ghraid photos as nothing more than a college prank?

Posted: 1/15/12 at 6:21pmLimbaugh, to his credit (that's a sentence start I don't use very often!) called the marines' actions in this case indefensible, which shows you just how far off the deep end Perry and so many others leading the Republican party have fallen.
