There goes another one.

Did he call someone a name?
Another desperate attempt to get Americans to pay attention to him?
He can have my attention any time he wants it.

Poor Robbie! He certainly has his demons to deal with. I think he has come to terms with his lack of fame in the US and actually enjoys being able to live a "normal" life here. I know he got a huge kick out of being able to go to stores, Starbucks and restaurants without generating huge attention here. The worst part of it is constantly beign asked if it bothers him to not be a star in America.
He's a terrific perfromer and an awesome guy. I know he'll whip this and be back better than ever.
I'm sorry. I was being uncharitable. I wish him the best.

You're so sweet today PJ!
Robbie is an acquaintance of mine-- I know you'd LOVE him!!
geez, if he really wanted to meet ted haggard that bad he could have just called him for chrissakes.
and there really are easier ways to get a shopping date with Lindsey Lohan than this.

Ted prefers to do the pursuing - Robbie just needs to make sure he's listed in the right place.
I love me some Robbie.
Hope he gets better and starts recording something better that "rudebox".
I just want him back into lapdance shape.
I know, and his accent is so cute!

That reminds me, I sure hope he's out of rehab for Elton's Birthday party March 25th. I'd heard Robbie was planning on giving Elton a rather unique gift...
Never understood his lack of popularity here in the states. He's very talented and a terrific performer! I wish him well.
Seriously, I do too.
He puts on a great show, but lot of his songs are very England-centric (see, I can make up words too!) which is probably why he never caught on here in America.
An awesome talent. It's a shame he/record company could not get the right personnel together to release a CD to get him attention in the States.
He does a great duet with Kylie Minogue called "Kids."

His US record label is primarily to blame. They were simply unable or unwilling to promote him here in America.
His song "Angels" has been named "The best song of the last 25 years" in British polling, and was recently named as the most popular song played at funerals...you can decide if that is an honor or a diss!

Joe - I REALLY hate to ask this, but it honestly wouldn't surprise me (and disgust me, as well) - does his playing around with the press concerning his sexuality (which he's never defined, as far as I know) have anything to do with the American label reluctance?

Naw, he just loves to make people talk. He hints, he teases, he jokes.
Several years ago, I was at Madame Tussaud's in London, and I chuckled at his wax figure, in which he was labeled "The King of Pop." At the time, I thought of him as just another boy bander trying to go solo. If you remember, this was about the same time that Jordan Knight and Joey McIntire were putting out solo albums. I had no idea how revered he was everywhere but here.
Needless to say, I've gained a lot of respect for him since then. Although I never want to see that pulling off the skin video again.
I don't think so DG--ambiguous sexuality didn't hurt Elton, Bowie, Mick, Freddie....well, Freddie wasn't very ambiguous, but you get my drift....and who DIDN'T know George Michael was gay?
The DVD of his concert at Knebworth is electrifying, and surprisingly moving, as well. He really seemed emotionally overwhelmed by the size and enthusiasm of the crowd.
I thought he said he was straight. I have no idea where i heard that. I remember crying when I heard it though.
