Who should play Hillary Rodham Clinton?

It's too bad they're only doing her early years, because British actress Michelle Terry would be perfect for Chelsea Clinton.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.

Geez I don't know really, but just for sh!tz 'n giggles, to mention one possibility who wasn't mentioned in the article: Dakota Fanning maybe. Think she'd be as good as any mentioned. Guess it depends on what age they're going with. Fanning is certainly quite a bit younger than Johansson, etc.

I'd say Seyfried. Her profile fits more into what Hillary actually looks like and actually looked like around that period where we are told the movie takes place.

Jessica Chastain is the only one of those who seems to be a natural fit for Hillary's persona, she can play smart badass pretty well. Love Johansson but she is so not the right fit for the role, neither is Amanda Seyfried. And Wynbish, that's a great suggestion, I think Portman would be fantastic.

Saoirse Ronan may be too young but is otherwise ideal. She looks a great deal like Hillary.

Not too enthralled with the idea of Chastain doing mimicry and biopics this early in her film career. Way more interesting projects for her to do, not to mention being offered along with stuff she is already signed on for. She seems so high in demand that it is no surprise she is on a list, but should she clear her schedule for this role?

I know this script has gotten a lot of 'buzz' but rarely are biopics of American political figures (particularly of the pre-political life) really all that great. And I can dig my political biopics when done well. Stone's Nixon is compulsively rewatchable for me and I would love to see somebody adapt one part of Caro's LBJ series. But rarely are they done well. It is just the names being thrown around make me a little cynical since this sounded more like 'Hillary: The College Years'. I am almost concern about who is directing this as much as starring in this movie.
