I thought this was a very cool endorsement for Senator Obama. and he looks like a rock star on the cover too which is pretty awesome. i have to say, its amazing to see what the democratic party has achieved this election. the amount of buzz and response senator's clinton and obama have ignited is incredible. we're living history. its great:

I got that in the mail today and was quite stunned by the cover. Have yet to read any of the articles though.

the endorsement is incredible! extremely well written, and like senator obama, leaves you with a hope that the nation is headed in the right direction. finally.

taz, the way it sounds...if there were two elections, he might just win them both.

Frankly, he did drugs! Frankly, he's like a black Lincoln!

Don't get me wrong, at this point in the game I would be happier with Obama as president than any other current candidate. However, Jann Wenner is a total dipsh!t whose endorsement has no real meaning, and the actual endorsement could have been written by an overly enthusiastic monkey if he had a typewriter.

I have not read this endorsement, but, like scott68, I have to wonder what meaning this actually has.

What meaning does anyone's endorsement really have?

Rolling Stone used to be a cutting-edge, provocative publication. Now it is piffle with a gay editor-in-chief who is in love with himself and his twink du jour. Does he even see his kids anymore?

This whole campaign is a joke: a closeted Hillary, a know-nothing Obama who just smiles and smiles and smiles; and McCain who has even meaner eyes that Cheney and could keel over at any moment.

The Ho, the Bro, or the Schmo?

I vote for FDR.
