"Bill Geddes is the Karl Rove of Barbara!"
Loved it.

I have no idea who Kathy Griffin is (oh, she has some random TV show - good for her), but I know a hell of a lot about Rosie and have a great deal of respect for her. She donates time and money to help improve the well being of children's lives and she does a hell of a lot for the Broadway community. I don't think Rosie thrives for celebrity, which I take it is what Kathy Griffin has that you're so drawn to, but to make an impression and a difference in people's lives. That puts Rosie at the top of my list. But I guess we all view success in different ways.

Love Kathy and Rosie.
These two would make so much better TV than Hassleback and Walters.

You bet your buns that Rosie has been drawn to celebrity until that celebrity showed another side of her. When I talk about the differences in Rosie & Kathy, I speak strictly to the comedic side, not personal. I don't judge my performers on their personal lives, frankly, I don't care. When I turn on a tv or spend $ for entertainment, I look at the performance.

Posted: 3/11/08 at 6:11pmWhen Rosie was doing strictly comedy, she was very funny. Now I know I'm dating myself by this next sentence, but I remember watching her week after week on Star Search and she just cracked me up.
