Back off of my Chad. It IS like the Hunger Games. They are paired up until the very end where it's a fight to the death. She called it when she walked in. I am giving her a pass. (It's also ALL scripted. lol)
Jillian Hervey was fantastic last week. Her ass made my day.

I'm waiting for him to break out the President Coin Realness at this point.
There was also the rather unfortunately timed c*nty shade Michelle Visage threw at FEMA last night. I mean...I know it was taped before Superstorm Sandy (now THAT'S a drag villianess), but snip snip go the editors...amirite, ladies?

Posted: 11/20/12 at 12:12pmShe was serving up FEMA realness (and I'm getting so sick and tired of the "serving "insert whatever" realness" thing. Everytime I hear it (at least 20 times every five minutes, I want to throw a baby at the tv.

^ I still haven't grown tired of it yet. I makes me laugh AT. ALL. TIMES.
I'm waiting for something really sick, like Geri Jewell Realness.

That was WEIRD. She was wearing her Jersey necklace and then cracked on FEMA. I was surprised they left it in.
And what is with Michelle's clothes? Are they getting more and more ridiculous or have I just not been paying attention? It seems crazy to have someone looking like such a hot mess critiquing the queens.

Posted: 11/20/12 at 12:20pmI think Ru loves to let her try to outdo him, drag-wise, only to smack her down with his natural C.U.N.T.

That last LSFYL was so wonderful and emotional. Everybody was living it.
And yes, Michelle's clothes are the draggiest. Didn't Ru crack last season that Michelle was something of a drag queen when Sharon told him that he was going as Michelle for snatch game?

Posted: 11/20/12 at 12:35pmSharon Needles' boyfriend, Alaska, is going to be on season 5. It should be interesting considering Sharon the reputation Sharon has earned since the show ended.

Posted: 11/27/12 at 8:08amWell, that was anti-climactic.

I am, too. It was just SUCH a big deal when all of the other winners were crowned. It was like, "The winner is... Okay, tear it down."
#36RuPaul's Drag Race: All Stars
Posted: 11/27/12 at 11:29pmIt was the budget season.

I get that. I just think this had the potential to be bigger than regular seasons.
It was odd. They kept saying they were the "best of the best", but technically, they all lost and there were four that were considered better than any of them. (I would put any of them up against some of the previous winners, though.) So, now Chad has this title and money, but what? Are they trying to make him more mainstream like RuPaul? I would love to see that happen, but that sort of thing can't be forced.

In the end, Raven deserved to win due to her final challenges. She was truly funny in her standup. Chad is okay, but really bugs me with his bitterness at losing to Sharon, who IMO was the most deserving winner.
This was my least favorite season, mostly because of the team idea. They should've let them be on their own and kicked off two at a time if they needed to speed it up.

While I thought Chad was one of the more put together and polished of the contestants, I never really cared for her. She always looked like Cher and had a limited repertoire of poses that she used no matter the theme of the challenge.
I also think she gave off the aura of the kind, benevolent older queen, often upset at the terrible drama going on around her and reaching in to give support or a comforting smile. But if you really paid attention, she was often manipulative and gave lots of little nudges behind the scenes to provoke those very same dramas. I think I trusted her less than any of the more obviously devious queens.

Posted: 11/28/12 at 10:42amThis was definitely a weak season, the team idea should have been part of one of the challenges as opposed to the whole season, though I guess it makes sense if they didn't have that big of a budget. I was rooting for Jujubee, she's genuinely hilarious, can out lip-sync all the other contestants, and brings something to the table that I find very unique and fun. Chad is great though, and I admire RuPaul for giving a 41 year old queen a big break like this one.

The Sharon-Chad drama seemed out of nowhere and I think is fake. Sharon has told everybody that behind the scenes, she and Chad bonded the most. At least I hope it was out of nowhere. Seems too Phi Phi O'Hara-like to go from bonding to backstabbing.
Also my friend's hairdresser tried out for Drag Race. Apparently these try-outs were occurring before All-Stars was announced and then got briefly delayed by All-Stars. Not sure if there was huge demand for Logo for an All-Stars or what but early on Season 5 seemed like it was in development before that happened.

Posted: 6/24/13 at 3:09pmAll of the queens from this season and Michelle Visage seemed pretty sure there'd be another season of All Stars, but I don't really think they know when they'll do it.

It's already filmed. There's a ton of info about it out. HUGE spoilers have leaked, allegedly, by a contestant's recent ex.
