There were a particular few on a politically charged thread on the OT board (as if there's anything else!) that I have a feeling you're referring to, and you were quite justified.
I love plum too, even though she always takes what I say too seriously. I'm not a troll I swear - I'm actually attractive.
You're kind of an idiot but you have your moments. Plum you're a cool cat in my book.
I love you Plum!

HEY! Save your anger for the bedroom, where it belongs!
Eh, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em!
I love you too Plum! Can I kiss your Doc Martens? Let me kiss your Doc Martens!
Doc Martens? More like....birkenstocks.
I can't believe I left for a minute and I missed the post that even Sum said was poor taste. I'm disappointed in myself.
Plum, everyone you gave it to recently deserved it. Don't worry.
You're every wish I will obey!
I think I've stated my love for Plum already.
And Pop before me.
So all y'all best not make Pop angry; I'm nice, but he might not be so kind.

But seriously, remember the good old days, when we could all just hate Brooklyn and yell at all the shills?
Do I need to register a new username with today's date and make 12 posts about how great Brooklyn is, how nice Mark and Barri are, and post links to reviews and places to buy tickets just to get everything back on track??
If you start a Brooklyn thread for that reason, I may have to hurt you...just because.
It's been like 2 days...we need another thread about who's replacing Idina Menzel in January. ANY THOUGHTS?

Fine, can we at least go back to yelling at that kid for posting 15 different "What should I use to audition for CoE??" threads and then incessantly bumping them ALL?
I've already told everyone, I'm replacing Idina in Wicked.
i think the 1 thing that should be done on this site is to create a list of things that new users should know before posting. it would probably get rid of 3/4 of the problems on this board, such as the repeated threads we all are sick of. as for the other rudeness, thats up to all of us to avoid on our own... such as keeping it to yourself.
Munku - Two days? That long? Ha. I don't think so. :eyeroll:
I'm 99% sure we did that over the summer and people yelled because THAT was rude.
its all in the wording i guess
it's been an endless cycle since the summer. a new rude person shows up, then eventually disappears or learns how to behave civilly. within days there's always someone else stepping in, trying to prove they can be even less tactful and less imaginative than the last one.
hyperbole is one thing, and understandably the less intelligent among us are going through the process of realizing that Offensive = Emphasis = Attention. But there's no longer any technique to it, no timing. so we're left with more and more would-be rabble rousers completely misusing the privilege of cynical sarcasm and abusing the generally open mind of the theatre-loving community.
I do hope something is done about it soon, because it makes everyone look bad-- these silly opinion-whores who spit out their views in the most hateful nasty way possible and think that makes them look like the next Lenny Bruce or George Carlin. Sorry folks, but without the savvy of knowing when and how to use this venom of yours, you're hovering somewhere in the territory of Ann Coulter without her thesaurus or proofreader.

You're my Asian sensation, Bway_Matty!
I love you, Brody and Andy. No one else amuses me.
