RUsh claims he has 20 million listeners not 14. Not ONE memeber of the Republican party will say anything negative about RUsh. If they do, they ALWAYS apologize and back peddle.RUsh seems to think he is the leader of the GOP. Why would the GOP ask Rush to speak on their behalf? I would think they would if anything try and distance the party from Rush the conservative. Hey, they got nothing. Desperate and pathetic. This is not my Paretn's Republican party or even the Reagna's Republican arty. This is a new radical wing of the Republican party and those who do not agree are too weak to speak out against them or Rush.

Politics is hardball. If the GOP leadership is willing to capitulate before Lardicus Limbaugh, then it's academic for Obama to make him the poster boy for a party that's bankrupt of ideas.
Smart money is on Huckabee resurrecting that party. As an orator, Obama and he are peers. You know where he stands on the issues, even if you don't fully agree with him. Most importantly, he isn't repulsive & vacuous like Palin; doesn't try too hard like the used car salesman/gameshow host Romney; and isn't a metronome repeating "911" 120 bpm. Jindal has been deliberately omitted for obvious reasons.
