Sorry to get all Perez Hilton on your ass, but...
Apparently Miss Gosling was in fact fired from THE LOVELY BONES for being a raging diva. Love him, hope he doesn't turn into another Mickey Rourke.
Why the hell is Jackson wasting his time with such a masochistic piece of Oprah-ooze as THE LOVELY BONES???
Fired!

I heard that Peter Jackson fired him and replaced him with Wahlberg because he thought he was getting too fat...
As Ms. Hilton put it: Pot. Kettle. Black.

What would Jackson's weight have to do with it? Is he on screen, too?

Gosling's weight
I belive "Phyllis" is referring to your saying that Jackson is the pot calling the kettle black. What does Jackson's weight have to do with anything? He's not in the movie, is he?
The buzz in Philly (filming here) is that Gosling was asked to gain 20 for the role and actually put on about 30 lbs. Plus, the diva stuff.

Right, so how is that pot and kettle? What does Jackson's weight have to do with anything? Or is it Perez Hilton's weight you mean? It still doesn't make sense.
And didn't Jackson lose a great deal of weight after LORD OF THE RINGS?

Yeah, but he's a fat bastard. To discriminate on the grounds of 10lbs when Jackson himself was/is still such a fatass? I think that's nasty.
It just proves everyone is fat in Philadelphia.
Charming.
If only Eminem had written those words, I could have found them artistic instead of fatphobic.
It's Ryan's job to be the appropriate weight for the role. I'm sure he agreed to it when he accepted the part. He's an actor.
If now he can't meet that requirement, hasta la vista.
At least Ryan can lose the weight and get back the hot now.
I find it interesting that Ryan was told by Jackson to gain 20, but then was replaced by Mark, who has what, 5% body fat?
i demand that such cruelty to the overweight not be allowed to stand. is this really how the board wants to present itself to the world? as fatphobic? is this the kind of place that permits such abusive speech to represent it?
btw, can anyone remember whose picture is in the dictionary next to hypocrite?

Also bear in mind that there's thus far been no link that mentions anything having to do with anyone's weight. Sounds like someone just wanted to insult a fat person. Sad.
"btw, can anyone remember whose picture is in the dictionary next to hypocrite?"
Some fat guy?
The item about the weight did run here in the Philadelphia Inquirer, but I can't find it at the moment. The weight issue was a quote from Jackson.

As a former fatass myself, I have a *pass* so bite me.
And you can find the article on Perez's website.

It still doesn't make the pot/kettle thing work, unless Jackson planning to take Gosling's role.

I do. I think he's being petty about 10lbs.
It sounds like the weight was just the technicality they used, and he booted him for other reasons...

Actually, if Jackson has lost weight, then by Fenchurch's standards he does indeed have the right to be petty about the pounds.

He hasn't lost enough, he's still a fat, sweaty bastard.
But you're right, it's probably an excuse.
